Clinical trial showed it didn't work in 40% of patients.

"I am not sure anyone here has actually tried the gel" etc

They had clinical trials. I would rather believe those than a anonymous chatroom poster telling us they or their mates say it works or not......you can't believe what you read on here! ;-)

What we need IMHO are some official sales numbers and news of progress in the US.

Good chance to top up at 30p again that seemed unlikely a few days back :)

I am not sure anyone here has actually tried the gel (or communicated that publicly) - I am not aware of any my mates that have ED (who is going to admit it anyway!) so will have to ask some folks to try it from a non ED perspective to get a sense that it has some impact at all before committing funds...if anyone wants to know the results of this mini piece of research let me know :)

Well, obviously it did or you wouldn't have replied or even commented in the first place. (Doh!)

Those poor, dyed-in-the-wool-stock bashers, still lamenting the condoms! Poor in both senses of the word.

They also did manage to win an award for spending the best big budget on an OTC product. hTtps://www.citeline.com/en/awards/otcmarketingawardshTtps://www.forbes.com/sites/forbesbusinesscouncil/2023/10/24/wellness-investors-beware-the-placebo-trap/Wellness Investors: Beware The Placebo TrapWhat's the problem with placebos? Placebo effects tend to wear off, and when they do, your customers will drop off. This forces tremendous spending on acquisition since it can cost five times as much to acquire new customers than keep current ones.Since repeat customers generate more than half of the revenue for a majority of businesses, pretty packaging of a placebo will likely struggle to sustain sales. Perhaps the boom and bust commonly seen with wellness brands isn't due to the hype cycle, but rather the placebo cycle.
