Petroc has proven himself the Med3000 tests were deficient as it included men with ED who would have just spontaneously recovered!

It is known that uncontrolled trials produce higher estimates of the mean effect than those obtained in a controlled trial, since by not having a control group acting as a reference, they can induce erroneous impressions about the results of the investigated drug. As they can generate a certain bias, the results of uncontrolled trials are considered less valid than those of controlled trials.

Uncontrolled Trials

This design incorporates no control arm. This design is usually utilized to determine pharmacokinetic properties of a new drug (Phase 1 trials). Uncontrolled trials are known to produce greater mean effect estimates than a controlled trial, thereby inflating the expectations from the intervention. There is a threat of inherent bias and results are considered less valid than RCT. Another issue is use of this design in spontaneously resolving maladies that might again overstate the effect

Quick description of LiarBO and his lying, scheming, dishonest stock bashing ways -

Stock bashing has become very common in the digital world and often occurs on online trading platforms. Sophisticated technology makes it easy for bashers to remain anonymous. As such, it can be difficult to track, identify, and stop bashers in their tracks.

As the internet makes participation in the stock market more accessible to more people, new investors emerging in the market are especially vulnerable to the tactics of stock bashers, and many investor boards exist to attempt to track perpetrators.

Though notoriously difficult to track, some bashers have been identified and prosecuted. From time to time, confessional essays about the tactics of bashers emerge online, although these essays are typically also either anonymous or pseudonymous. Many investors speculate this type of behavior tends to follow certain patterns, including a tendency for bashers to only bash stocks which are generally trending upwards and showing potential.

Having said that, financial regulators constantly monitor the markets for what they call bad actors or stock bashers. According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), investors may find it difficult to get information about these securities and any tidbits they may find can lead them to act even if it's misinformation. That's why FINRA warned investment firms and broker-dealers to put controls in place that would raise red flags on any suspicious activity

A Viagra study also showed using a placebo was also just as likely to harm you. It compared some 4,500 patients taking the drug to about 3,100 on placebo. So based on that study Med3000 even as a placebo is just as likely to harm you as viagra.

There was only 96 men in FM71 so less then 50 men actually used MED3000. There was also burning reported by some of the men and women in FM57 and there was also adverse events reported in 18.5% of the placebo gel users in FM53.

Yet millions and millions of men have used Viagra safely over many many years. So thats billions of doses taken yet its only linked to a few deaths. More men die from deaths associated with alcohol ingestion per year. And even placebo gels like MED3000 will be associated with deaths and thousands of reports of side effects if it ever manages to be used by enough men over time.

The objective data over many years of use. After appropriate assessment and correct use has proven Viagra to be effective and safe. Viagra has a well-established efficacy and tolerability profile. From its introduction in 1998 to 2016, over 64m men worldwide were treated with sildenafil citrate. 'The safety profile of sildenafil citrate is based on over 9,570 patients in 74 double blind placebo-controlled clinical studies as well as postmarketing surveillance that has been gathered over 10 years.' And correlation is not causation.

Viagra studies have even showed men taking it live longer.

With many millions of men taking erection erection drugs. Lots of men with heart disease will die from that heart disease whether or not they take erection medication. That is all it is, an association. There’s s no proof of cause and effect. And the data actually shows men with CVS disease who take viagra live longer.

So mike is now calling all the physicians and AUA etc liars and publicly accusing them of malpractice for applying the accepted standard of care and first line therapy!

Its all in the American Urological Association [AUA] guidelines’

The therapies have not been validated

‘what we have as standard of care, which includes pills, injections, penile prosthesis, and vacuum devices that we know work. Other therapies have not been included in the standard of care yet’

The first line therapy recommended in the General practice guidelines on ED is oral PDE5I drugs. Which would be based on all the available objective evidence. It would not be based solely on a rampers subjective and unqualified personal view. Or if a person just own shares in a company with a placebo gel alternative and who may have a vested interest and biased opinion.

First-line therapy

For most men with ongoing confirmed ED, first-line treatment will be a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor (PDE5I).

Phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors (sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil) are recommended as first-line therapy. With established safety profiles, these drugs are well tolerated and effective

GPC prescribing lead Dr Andrew Green:

'There is no doubt that sildenafil is a safe and effective drug’

This decision was made following a reassuring assessment of the safety of the Viagra Connect, advice from the Commission on Human Medicines, and a public consultation

Viagra is approved for treatment in the UK and offered by the NHS because it is a safe and effective treatment. Viagra is also one of the world’s most widely used drugs and used by millions of men per year. When dealing in such substantial numbers of users not all side effects associated with Viagra can be proven to have actually been caused by Viagra. More then 1 in 100 suffer similar or worse common side effects from ingesting alcohol. But many still drink alcohol regularly they feel the positive effects outweigh the negative effects.

Sildenafil and tadalafil are recommended firstline treatments for erectile dysfunction (ED). Sildenafil was legally reclassified to a pharmacy medicine in the UK in 2018.

The two-fold increase in the rate of primary care prescriptions in the past 10 years suggests that more men are being screened for, or seeking help for, ED. The higher rate of prescribing offers opportunity for monitoring of linked risk factors, such as diabetes mellitus, dyslipidaemia, and vascular disorders

Oh poor Petroc has told so many lies he can’t keep up with them all! ROFLMAO

petroc8 Dec '22 - 18:26 - 14487 of 14511 ‘spontaneous recovery of erectile function without further treatment’

So the ramper has admitted there are many reasons why symptoms can improve over the course of using any ED treatment of which the placebo effect is only one.

Spontaneous recovery is another that the ramper has proven exists at very high rates in ED. Its why so many say they don’t need PDE5I drugs anymore as the ED just magically went away!

ROFLMAO

In age-specific analysis, spontaneous recovery of EF was the most common reason for respondents aged 30 -39 years (58.8%

The proportion of discontinuation due to spontaneous recovery of EF was greater in the non-comorbid group (47.7%)

randomised clinical trials with inadequate blinding report enhanced placebo effects for intervention groups and nocebo effects for placebo groups? A protocol for a meta- epidemiological study of PDE-5 inhibitors A particular treatment effect may exert both nonspecific and specific effects. A non-specific treatment effect is an outcome that does not arise according to an intended mechanism of action. This can be a response to a placebo but can also reflect a spontaneous symptom improvement

'Yet again the ramper is a proven to be telling lies by his own posts! LOL' squeaked LiarBO. For a start, that sentence is barely readable due to LiarBO getting over-excited as usual. Secondly, it doesn't even mean anything, let alone prove anything. He says I'm 'admitting there are many reasons why symptoms can improve over the course of a trial...' Where do I begin with his lies and misinformation? Firstly I wasn't 'admitting' anything, I was quoting some proof that LiarBO was lying on a previous statement of his about PDE5i users discontinuing. Secondly, the information was specifically about PDE5i users who were not on any trial, but just giving them up. Not, as LiarBO claimed, because of inefficacy. So there are two more blatant lies from the stock basher, and yet he still hasn't addressed the fact that I proved him to be lying about why people give up on PDE5i meds.

How many times have you repeatedly posted the same misleading post. Oral PDE5i drugs are the proven safe, effective and accepted first line therapy for ED according to people and organisations who are qualified to make those recommendations. A ramper who is only making subjective statements based on him owning shares in a placebo gel and not the objective evidence is not what the the accepted standard of medical practice. Other therapies including Med3000 have not been validated with adequately controlled studies. You have also deliberately and repeatedly misrepresented the side effects and risks of the recommended first line therapy. It has many years of objective data in millions of users supporting why it is still the recommended first line therapy. Unlike Med3000 which has no non deficient data supporting its efficacy and very little and very short term safety data only in a very few number of users. Some of its impedance safety studies rely only on cadavers not real life people. Med3000 has been used on less then circa 400 people! While Viagra has been used on many millions. And even in those small tests Med3000 causes headaches, nausea and painful burning in men and women. So if Med3000 was used on millions it would cause terrible side effects and harm in thousands based on the percentages of side effects.https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/lifestyle/wellness/2002/04/30/the-nocebo-effect-placebos-evil-twin/6945da76-fb8e-401e-a4f2-0439d36f4c6a/A Viagra study also showed using a placebo was also just as likely to harm you. Hahaha! Listen to LiarBO getting all confused again! He bleated 'The ramper has proven himself with his own link about spontaneous recovery in ED that all the Med3000 tests results he claims were passed were all deficient. Those uncontrolled test results by his own admission included a large percentage of users who would just have had the same spontaneous recovery he highlighted and so the so called effect seen was nothing to do with MED3000 at all! LOL '
Well, he got one bit right- 'nothing to do with MED3000 at all! LOL' That's because the link was about PDE5i users discontinuing! It's difficult to believe that someone could be so stupid!
I also noticed that in his haste to be a fool, he didn't address the fact that my post proved him to be lying when he stated that most people who discontinue PDE5i use do so because of inefficacy. My link proved him totally wrong and to be lying and stock bashing as usual, and his response proved that even more so.
