I don't think we'll see much more action now. The institutional shorters will have exited and the retail spread betting firms will have balanced their books. The closing price for all bets will be 0p when suspended I would have thought. That happened to me once on a bet I had open when a company suspended following going bust.

The 99% odd longs will sit tight,apart from a couple of punters, but the shorts will be have to close by 4.30pm today

My guess is the Nomad waited for Peel Hunt (assuming the TW report is correct) to sort their short out before resigning. In which case today would be a down day (but possibly with crazy spikes). We will see soon enough.

Probably both... As shorts need to close today as well? And longs won't mind holding for a year? Who knows. Probably drop but hey it's not money right... :p

Suspension won. Last trading day. What will happen to the share price today? Shorts (if any) covering or investors running for the exit? I'll place my bet on the "runners".

Some crazy stuff happening here. I wonder if FXI is subject of an Asian betting game. (When) will it delist? Will it be suspended before? What will be the closing price, today, tomorrow, suspension, delisting? LOL.

Andy- me too. Never seen this kind of share price behaviour with a delisting looming. It's fascinating! No position but can't wait to witness the apotheosis, the Grand Finale!

J7 - short interest here is actually low acc to FT (as a guide amounts of just 1 or 2% make it onto the lists of most shorted shares) - certainly very low compared to the 5 and a half million shares held by the against voters.

2 tips for you (of very many needed)
- "85% of shareholders agreed." No -shareholders are not shares or votes.

-directors aren't always candid about what they really think

The rush for the exit is going to be interesting. I have never seen a share behave like this that is going to be delisted. Fascinating stuff!
