Most trades went through at 684 again today.
bid/offer 682/684 is also a lot tighter than normal. Normally around a 20p spread

Most of the trades went through on offer today (684) and few others above offer.
Fingers lightly crossed for the next few days

Not sure what the market will make of that.

Net debt is a positive!, the rest is hopeful of a 2022 improvement.

Recent weeks trading now at 90% of 2019 levels, which is an improvement
from the last update.

Very significant share price underperformance re YNGA is explained by these numbers.

FY consensus on pre tax at £13 million prior to today,
that looks about right, maybe a little scope for some upgrades

The new CFO looks a decent appointment.

Fullers appear to be significantly underperforming Youngs atm.

Bought a few earlier this week. A bit of a gamble ahead of the results. I'm hoping poor London sales are already priced in and guidance is of an improving situation.
I may have bought a few months early.

Wetherspoons trading update from Wednesday:

Contrary to some forecasts (including our own), trade has been positive in the centre of many, but not all, larger cities and towns - and negative in the suburbs.

For example, sales have been positive in in central Liverpool (+9.1%), Newcastle Upon Tyne (+11.1%), Oxford (+11.3%), Chester (+4.3%), Bournemouth (+4.2%), Nottingham (+3.6%), Cardiff (+3.5%) and Manchester (+0.4%).

In contrast, trade has been lower in central London (-17.4%).

Phil, Fullers appear to be underperforming other listed operators on 2019 v current
revenue. May be their London and City locations.

Questor: Fuller’s is starting to look interesting to contrarian value seekers.

Agree. The trading statement from this morning puts trading the last couple of months at 86% of 2019 levels. Will this become the norm, especially in central London? Potential head winds include CO2 shortage, winter fuel bills, VAT to 12.5% in Oct and 20% in April 2022, and of course the NIC rise from April 2022.

On the plus side, they own 91% of their property. Many of which have not had a revaluation since 1999. IMO, a current property valuation would easily exceed the current market cap.

Appears to be a very marked difference between FSTA and YNGA on recent
current trading updates, underscored by their respective share prices.

What is going on at Fullers to cause this?.

30 January 2020:
“We will next update the market on 11 June 2020, when we announce the Company’s full year results for the 52 weeks to 28 March 2020.”

1 June 2020:
".. the Board confirms that it will announce the Company's Full Year results for the 52 weeks to 28 March 2020 on 25 June 2020, instead of 11 June 2020 as previously announced."

24 June 2020:
"the Company .. had intended to publish its Full Year Results for the 52 weeks ended 28 March 2020, on Thursday, 25 June 2020.".... "Fuller’s will now announce Full Year Results for the year ended 28 March 2020 on Friday, 3 July 2020."

Friday 3 July 2020:
No results announced. Instead, "Fuller’s will now announce a revised date for its Full Year results for the year ended 28 March 2020 shortly."

27 July 2020:
still no results nor any fourth intended date for them?
Are Grant Thornton unwilling to sign off results as presented?

(I see Sharescope saying tomorrow, 28 July)
