Hi Dire.
Yes I'm a phtm holder from a month ago and bought because of the Telegraph recommendation and so far I'm impressed.Unable to attend the Agm due to the tube disruption but hope everything goes well.
No questions to ask the Directors as they are doing a good job in my view .cheers.

Dire;
I doubt whether many will attend this years Agm which is a shame but due to last weeks actions and the subsequent tube disruption it will put many off..hope you get there Ok.

All the negative comment when the results came out doesn't seem to be able to keep this down and there is plenty of small buying going on.

Forgive my asking mitzis, but what is the point you are making about Ridley's - a family firm falling? (I used to drink pints of it once - nothing special.)

clusium ; I dont think you can go far wrong with these in the medium/long term as most breweries are underpinned by valuable property assts..and they are making more profits by cost cutting.

Dire Straights................no, can't do 26th July as I'm playing in a seniors golf competition at Weston Turville. Pity, I would have liked to have attended. Do quiz them on fixed asset valuations if you get the chance.

Hi ygor705

The AGM is on the 26th July at 11am

Fullers have a voucher system, you are given on arrival 2 vouchers which allows you and pint of ale each.

I go every year let me know if you are going and i'll meet you for beer.

This company is now almost a property company that also sells beer. Have a look at property company PEs if you think that FSTA is expensive. Anybody know the date of the AGM...............I'll go along and ask a few questions myself if it fits the diary. Understand its a "wet" AGM so I'll have to get the wife to pick me up afterwards!

doing well today as the temp here in London hits 30c.
Shares mag gives them a good write-up today saying they are good value and have further to go.(based on the latest results).

Dont think they will fall far especially if they get planning to sell their hotel at Hillingdon to Tesco for redevelopment.

Is anybody going along to the AGM to ask the Directors why they haven't got sensible asset valuations in the balance sheet? A vulture fund would want to know the correct numbers.

But Fullers is still the Rolls Royce of brewers and pub operators.

I agree there is no way you can compare the likes of GK with either Youngs or Fullers...there like chalk and cheese..
