21/6/2013 07:08 | That's a phenomenal rns. Market doesn't seem to have woken up to it yet. | pilkersa
18/6/2013 13:28 | TRE and AURR are similarly priced and discounted to NAV, yet TRE has one third of AURR shares in issue. Before long TRE will start winding up the company and giving bucket loads of cash to shareholders. That is why Weiss Asset Management-26.07%, and VR Global Partners-13.05% along with Praxient Capital-14.02%, added millions of shares in April and May, 2013. | azalea
14/6/2013 18:24 | i notice the price of carbon has been strong since mid April - be nice to see a break of the downward trend that has been in place for the last 2 years.... | norbert colon
07/6/2013 06:22 | It's a fair bet as the company year ends on 30 June. So a preclose statement would be a reasonable expectation. News of i) ending of CER exposure, ii) portfolio update, iii) cash update; and hopefully return timetable. | grahamg8
06/6/2013 12:52 | If Simon Thompson is right(and he is rarely wrong)we should get news of cash being returned to shareholders this month. | azalea
03/6/2013 10:26 | so when's this news coming then.... | jezza123
21/5/2013 06:17 | they are buying ahead of another payment to shareholders, which if my memory serves me right S.Thompson said should take place in June. One thing is for sure they have not bought 3m for the hell of it. Major holders are now holding a litle over 84% of shares in issue-249,809,790. All part of the process of winding up the company and returning the cash to shareholders. Sp currently at a discount of circa 44%. | azalea
20/5/2013 16:50 | hey azalea - well spotted - what you reckon they are up to? | jezza123
20/5/2013 13:54 | VR Global Partners add 3.35m today, totalling 32,601,721(13.05%). Since 9/4/13 added just under 16m shares. | azalea

23/4/2013 10:00 | Recent rise levelling off. 29-30p looks realistic. I've just been quoted 29.79 to buy and 29.05 to sell a 10,000 share lot. More news needed to go onward and upward? | grahamg8
19/4/2013 11:12 | you are right there is definitely a large movement of blocks of shares.... we wait with baited breath | jezza123
19/4/2013 06:27 | Something big in the wind. 11m shares traded in just 44 minutes on 16 April. That's 4.4% of the total shares in issue. Big shareholders in control of majority of shares: Laxey 4.32%, VR Global 8.5%, Moore Macro Fund 11.61%, Weiss/Brookdale 26.07%. I'm excluding Praxient/Blackwell because they don't own the shares but have voting rights (13.16% which might double count the above). Any news could result in some dramatic price swings. | grahamg8
11/4/2013 15:38 | Looks like it was a blunder. Let's hope they can get the important things right, like the cash back for instance, CER wind up prices, investment portfolio sale receipts. I get a bit nervous when a company can't do the simple things properly - like proof read an RNS. | grahamg8
11/4/2013 09:47 | think your answer is in this morning's RNS - it's lovely and quiet over here, I always see that as a good sign... | jezza123
10/4/2013 23:07 | G8.............Holdi Normally attributed to transference of proxy,non-proxy voting rights. There are codes of practice regarding voting rights, unattached to stock purchase or transference. A veritable hidden dagger, twixt II and PI,not to be skipped past lightly. Always wise to back track and bring up the bigger picture with holding RNS'ssss. | b1llyboy
10/4/2013 19:43 | Can anyone fathom how VR Global Partners increased holding of 21.24m shares represents 8.5% voting rights on one line of the release and then 1.42% on the next line? | grahamg8
