What is this?

A week for tweeting existing deals we already know about?

Crikey they sound desperate.

Latest FBT Tweet:

Great meeting yesterday with our long-standing customer, @envypost. They and their clients use Blackbird in the production workflows of many well known TV shows including Gold Rush,

#Gogglebox and #TheVoice. #videoproduction #videoediting #cloudeditor

Wonder if the new player is in the deal(once it is released that is)? That should see a bit of interest.

My retweet this morning was "restrained" I am claiming that word too. I wish they would just sack the nomad (who are IMO clueless and useless) and get on with it.

Around 50% loss for me all told..

Had some and then loaded up 2-3 years ago when FBT advised the public that they were finally going from production of tech stage- monetisation of tech stage.

I am a bellend for falling for the hype.

Nearly all of mine are 5p to 6p when that institutional investor sold out a few years back, hence the low average.

I assume he b in Nickb is for bellend.

Fair play bonio and well traded. I'm down about 50% when sterling loss is included ... I've had some good trades over the years but this is probably one of my worst. Imho, tying ourselves to Microsoft, although it helps with short term credibility, is bad in the long term. Anyway...

So many filtered names reminds me of the 5p days of buying.

Stay Skeptic🤔

Well, I am in profit.

But yes - the constant dilutions for failed US expansions, board wages and EVA and Captevate have largely ruined the chances of a life changing investment.

Nickb was all over all of those BTW.

So true, anyone who bought before shareholder value was destroyed with the last issue of shares at 5p has arrived too early.

We're in the last chance saloon. Hopefully a major will value FBT and we can all walk away..

I think most shareholders here have arrived far too early.

Perhaps Come back when the company has at least £2million in revenue if you want to invest in the business

It’s been the visionary investment backing of the technology

It’s now more about industry awareness and trials testing and adoption phase

Followed hopefully by serious business revenue.

I think we are in the industry waking up to our technology phase. Which some investors here see as hype.

Whatever happened to Lees' spreadsheets?

Will he take the with him or can the board post them to cheer up shareholders?

Agree, when cash burn is £40-45k a week, you kinda think any announcement re contracts are going to be sizeable enough to make a dent in that £2m p.a loss.

IMHO

Not sure I am qualified to comment on the internal thought processes, if any, of the FBT board.

I mean - when you are bigging up the Great Run Series as a success story (after 18 years), you have to question their sanity.

bonio10000 Why make an announcement of a successful completed trial if much of the money expected to flow from it has already been received and what is to come is not material?

NickB If 5 months is not enough time after a trial we must inevitably be looking at 6 - 24 mths after that before any substantial cash is forthcoming. Does the company have enough cash to sustain the current level of marketing until late 2020? I do accept that they may not be able to name the customer but the fact is that if the contract is for more than about £70K they have to issue an RNS as part of their Listing Agreement. So either they are not abiding by the rules or more likely they have not signed deals that exceed 10% of the turnover. This puts the comments about large and medium sized customers in context; they haven't actually landed any to date under IM but to be fair to him have they ever? Until they do land a few (but just one would be an indication) the markets reluctance to uprate the share price is totally understandable. They are after all serial promisers and subsequent underperformers.

That's why I place so much emphasis, rightly or wrongly, on the Financial results. It's the only way with FBT that you can 'separate the Wheat from the Chaff'

Good news FBT are attending NAB with Microsoft, should have the Tech updates long before then.

GL and IMHO

To do a trade news release they have to get permission from the Client that is often not possible (also mentioned in that presentation)

Also long lead times in this business I would not expect a signed contract just after the end of a trial.

In sport for instance as an example if we had just finished a trial with the football league i would not expect a contract to start until next season.

Workflow changes won’t change mid season

I would also not expect the trial you mentioned to be a very big contract.

At least exhibiting with MSFT saves us blowing £50k on attendance and a stand.

Defo a step up from Aziz's MA teaching him to put in a "free beer" sign and also a whisper room.
