24/4/2018 14:06 | 'Unless they decide to change the company name'... Oh Dear Lord... Not another Relaunch/Rebrand... One every Year is enough!! 🙃 | paulcon1
24/4/2018 13:18 | Chris... Agreed... News flow better, but still have to look for it and not reaching a wider audience. Good point re 'It is the Stock Exchange that should get news first and not as an afterthought' GL | paulcon1
24/4/2018 12:00 | Forbidden Technologies establishes partnership with TownNews.com Yesterday's news, finally makes it to the Forbidden website.... 😕 I assume it took so long because the Industry was not ready to accept it! ... 😂😂 | paulcon1

23/4/2018 13:06 | By way of scale, news income was £35k last year - down from £45k in 2016. Field59 has been meaningless to date. | bonio10000
23/4/2018 12:58 | Field 59 has generated the square root of nothing for FBT, in relative terms. So, whilst all business is welcome, it's not a game changer at all. | bonio10000
23/4/2018 12:51 | looking at the Town website - they dont look super slick to be honest so i doubt they are enormous good that they will enhance the Field 59 deal but i dont think it is caviar and cowboy boots just yet | geheimnis2
23/4/2018 12:43 | gerihatrick: the AGM is on 30th in Wimbledon. | gnnmartin
23/4/2018 12:09 | Local newspapers have video content. I think it’s a bit more than potential because Town are standardised on Blackbird for its video production platform which becomes available to all its customers. Sure revenue will take time to filter through but we don’t have any selling to all those local media outlets Town does that. Way I see it. | nickb
23/4/2018 11:41 | Town's biggest broadcast client appears to serve the second largest TV market in Louisiana, mostly with affiliate content, so this looks to be more about potential than actual revenue boost for FBT. Not sure how much FBT potential there is in Town's portfolio of digital local newspapers and magazines. Small beer I suspect. | pr100
23/4/2018 10:03 | Editing system of choice That’s an important statement. | nickb
23/4/2018 09:53 | The fact FBT is SAAS on aws is a big positive, otherwise fbt would be a much greater risk for a user. Fingers crossed, good opportunity with town. | mcsean2164
23/4/2018 08:12 | A big rns before the AGMwould be great | geheimnis2
23/4/2018 07:59 | Chris... Totally agree... The potential for the FBT technology to be picked up by those 1700 clients is huge... And as you say, FBT deserve some luck... I think this is very positive news GL | paulcon1
23/4/2018 07:52 | Everyone needs a bit of luck and the takeover of Field59 has delivered it for FBT: "Over 1,700 newspaper, broadcast and magazine publications" delivered as customers for little or no effort. Just think of all their customers who are seeking help with online advertising... not Murdoch but a big step forward in US exposure. | chriscallen
23/4/2018 07:49 | Congratulations to all the staff at FBT This maybe an extension or re-negotiation of an existing deal but great news all the same Townnews365.com look an impressive news company and their recent acquisitions show intent.
