i would have thought that a major deal with youtube 5 years ago would have put fbt as a household name in the industry by now

im not sure it was a direct deal between fbt and youtube i think it was a contract between NBC and youtube for olympics streaming but NBC used fbt to make the editing and streaming work. Dont quote me on this

Observation: LADbible seems to file small company accounts if I have picked up the right one at Companies House. The accounts look a bit strange as their website, if it's the right one, says they have 2 offices with just short of 100 employees.

I have been comparing the list of Resellers and Partners on the respective Forbidden and Blackbird sites. The good news is that Blackbird has added Corrivium, F2 Technologies, Field 59 and You Tube. Gone are Sony, ATOS,AP ENPS,Keycode Media,EVS,File Catalyst,09 Technology,CHYRONHEGO,EditShare,Store DNA,Take 1 Transcription,Timecode Systems,Techtel,Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure (now reclassified as a customer). I don't really know what to make of this cull except that it may reflect previous over optimistic marketing and what is now shown is the real situation. Take 1 Transcription seems to be a supplier of services so I can understand why they no longer figure but the rest...

There are no shares unless a major holder wishes to part ways, or they have forward sold placing shares .(No placing shares I can see and would be illegal if they did).

I see not many shares free floating so all good.


Long term holders may finally have that party we talked about.

Might be new customers for "Blackbird" who previously used the legacy platform.

The most recently announced wins are entirely new customers as the Press release says "announce 2 new Blackbird platform customers". Clearly IM is managing the process so it might be that they have had these lined up for a few weeks to release when it was likely to have most impact. Is SS in Las Vegas or is he still in London but available on line if required for technical input?

Be interesting to know if these are incremental deals or simply part of the daily too and fro but they are choosing to announce them now to generate some Blackbird PR.
