23/10/2013 12:30 | not much history on Zambia licences - but may come good - on Nambia, depending on the geoch / survey test results it may be a biggie - we have to see - Duma's acreage is mint - we are along way off yet - have to see if th farm out Oman to reduce cpex costs here - i.e $20m | euclid5
23/10/2013 12:26 | Of the three projects, it is not the Biggie. Purely speculative. Nobody can even do any seismic out there yet. Let's see if Dumas follow it through. Zambia will be bigger than Namibia imho. | brokerdaw

22/10/2013 20:43 | Namibia the biggie. I think not. | brokerdaw
22/10/2013 18:59 | don't know - can't recall - under £2m - they will need further funding but they will farm out Oman assets - so maybe only need £6m there to cover their share of costs Namibia is the real biggie here if their results come back with good analysis Circle oil had the license inc Duma Energy's (A US OTC listed co) way back when but the farm in partner failed to raise funds to move fwd on seismic & the work program - Key's is back in this area again - But Duma's got excellent licences a few kms west of FRI's | euclid5

24/9/2013 09:24 | shareprophets... "On the surface this it looks a familiar story of woe. Frontier (FRI) joined first ISDX then AIM as an exploration company with Celtic overtones. But.. The company is headed by Jack Keyes as CEO. He was the co-founder of Circle Oil, but Frontier has been an ongoing labour of love since the 1980's. Jack has invested a significant proportion of his own funds into the kitty whilst deferring a lump of his annual salary in order to propel the business forward. This appears a complete contrast to the norm and on this basis demonstrates a genuine intent. The company has a diverse asset portfolio with its potential value belt running through Oman across Zambia and into Namibia. The company last raised cash at 6p (bringing in £1.8 million) with a noticeable support coming from the Middle East. Keyes recently commented on its most exciting operation: "The results of the land gravity survey in Zambia are very encouraging. By integrating these results with our existing understanding of the area Frontier can now plan the next phase of our exploration activity in this emerging rift system" However, the prime play for me is Oman with frontier assets positioned nicely encircled by big oil. With some form of background seller at 5p almost out, I'd say it's a matter of time before the Share price corrects and on this basis recommend a speculative buy." | someuwin

09/9/2013 09:05 | RNS Number : 4504N Frontier Resources International 09 September 2013 For immediate release 9 September 2013 FRONTIER RESOURCES INTERNATIONAL PLC ("Frontier" or the "Company") Operational Update: Namibia The Board of Frontier (AIM Ticker: FRI), the AIM - traded international oil and gas exploration company with assets in Oman, Zambia and Namibia is pleased to provide shareholders with the following operational update on its activities in Namibia. Frontier's Namibian blocks, located in the Owambo Basin in northern Namibia, cover an area of approximately 18,933 square kilometers. A two year exploration licence was granted on 20 January 2012. Frontier is operator with a 90% working interest while NAMCOR, the Namibian National Oil Company, has a 10% carried interest in the licence. The Company's representatives recently travelled to Windhoek where the field crew assembled prior to travelling to northern Namibia where the concession is located. The Board announces that, together with a representative of Exploration Technologies Inc., ("ETI") from Houston, Texas, it has conducted an in-field training programme to familiarise Frontier's local contractors with the proprietary sampling system used to gather the soil gas samples. During the trip, Company representatives travelled extensively throughout the concession area to view the terrain in general and to assess the logistics that would be involved to acquire seismic data in this area. Samples are being collected on a regional grid along existing roads, tracks, paths and terrain that is accessible via a field vehicle and/or walking. Global Positioning System (GPS) instruments are being used by the field crew to accurately locate the sampling sites. The samples will be sent to ETI's Houston laboratory for analysis and review. Based on the results of the initial soil gas sample analysis, Frontier will then decide on areas that may require additional sampling. The soil gas survey field data collection and laboratory analysis is expected to take approximately two months with final results expected by November. Commentating on today's update, Jack Keyes, Frontier's CEO said "The training of the field crews and the start of the survey has been a very exciting time for all those involved. We look forward to receiving and assessing the initial results to enable us to plan the next phase of our exploration activity." | sportsauto
