Progress is quite slow with Pulsiv, it’s beginning to unnerve me. Looking back through press releases not much seems to be materialising there. I’d like an update of progress and a clear timeframe of when to expect production and sales to start.

I’ve listened to last weeks conference where Pulsivs Darrel Kingham was on a panel.
He stated that companies are looking for maximum effiency performance and they have been working with partners to achieve this.
And that “they will shortly be releasing reference designs and news in the not too distant future where we’ll have some new topologies and partnerships where we will be showing even better performance “
Current market cap of £23.6m will look ridiculous when this news released.

Frontier has net cash of around £7.3m following the most recent sale of exscientia.

Market cap today is £27.7m.

Frontiers diversified portfolio of 20 or so companies means that this cash can be deployed to the most deserving investments. Outside investors do not have the option of investing in fundraisings of these companies. Such fundraisings should be on better terms now interest rates are higher.

A great situation to be in for the long term investor. Providing Frontiers management deploy their cash effectively during this period we should see some stellar returns in the near term.

It doesn't need to delist from AIM - give your head a wobble.

If FIPP Doesn't need to do a capital raise in the near future - then I don't see why there would be a need to panic. The business appears to be well capitalised so see through a period which might reduce valuations of its portfolio companies.

As an investor - I'm still as excited by the future of its portfolio of companies as I was when this was trading at 100p. The fact that the market is valuing it differently to myself is OK with me. This is where opportunity lies to back your horses and, as mentioned in a previous reply, put it in your SIPP and come back to it in 20 years.

I’m done with the AIM market. 10% drop with no new information or significant share sales? I will be dumping all my aim investments as soon as the opportunity presents itself. I’d strongly advise Frontier to get itself off AIM.

Heard back and I'll be catching up with Neil Crabb a week today. Also, an offer to meet up with the Pulsiv CEO at the Cambridge arm.I am informed that Pulsiv is now working with a global network of distributors and prospective tier-1 OEM's to win future designs.

Just took another look at Pulsiv website. They have a section Where to Buy, and I’ve clicked on the links they provide to their various distributors.
I could not see reference to our products at Ismosys, Astute, Fortec and Pankaj. It maybe that you have to make telephone or email enquiries to order them, I don’t know.
Our products are listed with Digikey but there are still none in stock.
They are listed and available at Saelig in USA. For those interested you can buy a cut reel single 250w for $5.48 or a full reel of 3000 for $9210 (equivalent $3.07 each). The 150w version are slightly cheaper.
This should give us a ballpark feel for what Pulsiv sell them for.

I've emailed both the FIPP CEO and Pulsiv head yesterday to see if I can set up another call following on from my March catch up.Hopefully I'll hear back today and get something pencilled in.

AIM is littered with companies making claims that never materialise. Frontier, given their recent share price drop need to address this fear amongst aim investors. Whilst constant updates with nothing happening can also frustrate, I think it’s important to address the point made above regarding slow progress at Pulsiv with an explanation of when sales will start, rather than allow investors to assume the worst.

Frustrating indeed.
However it’s difficult to make share price progress when the last 3 “Holdings in Company”announcements have shown the biggest 3 shareholders all reducing their stake and as far as we know may still be.

Also a lack of news and information on the companies doesn’t help.
We could do with a decent announcement from Pulsiv other than just trade show appearances. Their “game changer” Osmium was launched last September. We’ve had a number of distribution agreements announced globally but when I last looked I could only find the product on sale on one of those companies websites.
In August we were told Sir Michael Rake was joining CamGraphic before year end and product being trialled with major end user. Since then no sign of Sir Michael and no news about trial. I also note that the same high profile jobs on website are still being advertised as have been for a few months now.

That said it now trades at 40% discount to the 88p NAV as at Dec 22 which is clearly too cheap but may get cheaper unless we get some news. Hopefully they will provide a positive Trading Update in July and avoid mentions of the Great Depression which doesn’t really help matters.

Frontiers share price frustratingly always drifts lower during periods of little news flow. Also not helped by the aim markets poor performance with the aim 100 recently having halved in value in the last two years.

Frontiers portfolio is largely intellectual property for a global market however. Yet it’s performance is tracking U.K. domestic companies on AIM seen as weak by foreign investors.

Given frontier have no need to raise equity to support holdings due to its liquid exscientia investment and its strong and well placed portfolio its recent performance is very frustrating indeed. Great opportunity to top up however.

I mean, this invests in start-up/spin-offs . Years can go by without major news, but doesn't mean work isn't going on in the background.

Put this in your SIPP - forgot about it - return in 10 years. That's the plan.

I was unaware the global inverter market was $8bn and expected to increase in size by 13.5% a year for the next 5years. No updates regarding Pulsiv for a while, could unnerve some investors.

Trade sale would be an obvious, if not the preferable choice for us, but I'd guess at a very good price!Posting my piece again from a few months back as I spoke with the Pulsiv CEO, so may be of interest to more recent investors here.https://martinflitton1.wixsite.com/privatepunter/post/frontier-ip-looking-to-break-the-boundaries-01-03-23

If Pulsiv don’t do a major IPO in the next 12/18 months it will be a major surprise to me.
Just hoping they don’t get taken out on the cheap by one of the current partners before

“As the global trend is shifting towards sustainability, governments worldwide are implementing regulations to reduce energy consumption and use it more efficiently across all stages of the energy chain, including generation, transmission, distribution, and end-use. Such policies drive consumers to shift toward renewable energy and reduce electricity consumption. The PV inverter market is pivotal in this era, where sustainable living and eco-friendly energy apply to most electrical appliances.”

“Tackling the global energy crisis and delivering ambitious sustainability targets will require the electronics industry to embrace technology innovation and challenge conventional thinking. Pulsiv OSMIUM reference designs offer a cost effective method to reduce the amount of energy consumed in AC to DC power supplies and battery chargers under all operating conditions,” said Darrel Kingham, CEO of Pulsiv.

Patience needed but has I’ve said several times and has perfectly described above Pulsiv is the jewel in the crown .
Frontier are happy to sell down Excenientia and see opportunity in the portfolio to support further funding rounds
