Just added a few more . Pulsiv news on the USB-C solution imminent will say no more |
Happy to buy at 34p 🫣 |
Not a single share traded today remarkable |
Cambridge Raman (graphene-enhanced ultra-fast fibre lasers) is making strong progress, with revenues "trending ahead of CRI's management expectations, with growth being accelerated by this working capital facility in advance of a planned equity round that is anticipated for CRI in the coming months":
FIPP are supporting 26.8% owned CRI with a £600k loan facility - hopefully that secures CRI's working capital needs and the equity raise will be at a nice premium to the current valuation. |
My 10k buy at 37p Happy to buy these at these levels . Discounts a lot of upside IMV. |
It’s like the E comment about Nandi proteins the only one in some 4 years sounded exciting news but no detail. As you mention cam graphic I know things take time but when it’s multiple years now with a number of companies and it’s always the coming months . From an investment point it’s been reasonably poor to say the least for long term holders |
Yes Pulsiv prooving frustratingly slow. Darryl Kingham not providing any significant updates on LinkedI, although I note Rich Ford at Astute still seems very enthusiastic. Similarly CamGraphic has gone quiet. It was August 2022 that we were told Sir Michael Rake would be joining the board that year, yet his joining still appears to be pending. 5 months ago Ben Jensen, the new CEO said he couldn’t wait to share news of the amazing progress they were making. Since then silence. I still remain hopeful that both these two will release significant news this year but I probably said the same last year. |
Well I’m not sure but I would have thoughts mention of sorts regarding the successful launch of the USB charger would have been mentioned |
Do they need to make announcements of sales yet? They’re not listed, could be waiting to create a fanfare closer to ipo? Or is that wishful thinking?! |
I was expecting significant news from Pulsiv on sales news on the back of the USB launch .with all the numerous partnership with major industry players all the major electronics fairs shows attended and nothing.Yet another ground breaking technology company getting shut out by the inferior major competitors unfortunately |
More good progress from Molendotech |
New interview with Alusid's CEO. He notes that:
- the IPO is planned for later this year - they're working with a European partner on a new range for launch in Sept/Oct - they're planning to develop 20 new floor and wall tile ranges in the next few years |
Good news today from Alusid - the launch of their first range of recycled floor tiles into Topps Tiles.
Note that Alusid "is now progressing with plans for an initial public offering later this year":
Also:
"Other Alusid customers include Starbucks EMEA, H&M, Pret a Manger and the BBC. The Company is in discussions with potential distributors in Northern Europe to expand into new territories" |
Yes from my online chat a number of months ago I’m disappointed no significant news on orders. But call me a sceptic but even when you clearly have a better product in many ways big business use ever dirty trick to block entry .I’ve seen it numerous times in many sectors especially biotech |
Strange no news of orders yet… |
I dunno? Last I heard was they were to release a series of reference designs for USB-C throughout this year with a 65w version by end of March. That was on 6th March and seemingly nothing from them since. They are at Trade Show in Vegas this week. Then being featured by Astute in London show next week. Then jointly at PCIM Europe on 11th June in Nuremberg. Hopefully they’ve got some news to release for one of these shows. |
What’s happening with Pulsiv? |
Well let’s hope so it’s been a extremely frustrating last few years |
Okay, it’s not gonna be a huge amount. They’re talking 79m shares. Last financing was done at C$0.135 which would suggest FIPP stake worth about £300k. That seems a reasonable payment for services provided. |
Here’s a bit of hopefully good news in regard to the very recently acquired 4.26% stake in DiaGen. Not definite yet and no indication of valuation but could see a cash return in Q3.
“After evaluating multiple potential merger candidates, we are excited to partner with LCC on the proposed merger transaction which will provide our shareholders and stakeholders a pathway to liquidity on our intended go public plan later this year, commented Brian Keane, DiaGen’s CEO.” |
FIPP is still trading at less than half NAV , yet the IPO market is seemingly opening up , Gervais Williams at Miton topped up in mid-April , and like-minded peers such as Molten Ventures are up 50% from their lows .
And any one or two of their carefully incubated holdings in portfolio companies might surely be worth FIPP's current market cap of £23m ?
Are we not near a major turn for the better ? |
Just made a small top up. Current valuation is just silly with impending IPOs on the way. Britain showing strong growth. Pension companies to start investing in Uk start ups. Valuations should start rising soon. Its key to look at management in any AIM company, Frontier has strong proven leadership and its portfolio companies are attracting extremely positive comments from industry peers. This low share price won’t continue for long. |

"Our largest single order ready to go out of the door - nearly 2,000 tests." |

Frontier IP, a specialist in commercialising intellectual property, today notes the following announcement from The Pirbright Institute that it has entered into a collaboration with the Group's portfolio company, The Vaccine Group ("TVG" or the "Company"), to revolutionise development of vaccines to combat African swine fever ("ASF").
ASF is highly contagious and deadly to pigs. The virus has devastating impacts, is spreading rapidly around the world and poses a threat to the UK's pig and pork export market, which was valued at £623 million in 2022. No safe and effective vaccines yet exist for ASF .
The project, expected to take 18 months, is backed by funding from the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, part of UK Research and Innovation.
Frontier IP holds a 17 per cent. equity stake in TVG.
Frontier IP Chief Executive Neil Crabb said: "We are delighted that TVG is entering this collaboration with The Pirbright Institute, a world leader in innovation for preventing and controlling viral diseases in livestock. The partnership represents a strong validation for TVG's herpesvirus-based vaccine platform technology." |
Further to my post above, Diagen.AI actually raised CAD$1.5m in Q1 as announced on March 6th:
In the press release they also state they intend to IPO "later this year":
"The Company will execute future ongoing rolling closings periodically, with a final closing early Q2 of 2024. Use of proceeds of the financing are for general working capital, completion of the Company’s audit and launch of the Company’s intended go public transaction later this year." |
