28/11/2017 10:06 | @Bumpa you do realise what the bulls will say to that. "All in good time it's an amazing result and we've only tested 1 out of 3 zones - just think what the flows will be like from all three". Bottom line though this bag of spam was priced for only a perfect result from UD2 and we didn't get anything like perfection. | loglorry1
28/11/2017 10:04 | Makes you question whether this company is just extremely forgetful or out and out liars. | bumpa33
28/11/2017 10:00 | They were supposed to be testing three gas bearing intervals between 2620 and 3320. What happened to those?? | bumpa33
28/11/2017 09:56 | Sounds like seeping flatulence from the CEO's grid. Hope he doesn't smoke | tidy 2
28/11/2017 09:55 | Give FRR their due, they know how to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Though clearly the market is tiring of it. | bumpa33
28/11/2017 09:53 | now the real nutters turn up eh tidy... | bumpa33
28/11/2017 09:49 | Show me a gas well which has been abandoned in the past, had a 500K workover, then tested for weeks on end and where the RNS was missing a flow rate that later turned out to be commercial anywhere in the history of O&G exploration. It's all just fantasy land stuff. | loglorry1
28/11/2017 09:45 | 6 weeks of testing, what are you on about? 2nd October the workover was completed and they were ready for testing. the Company will now commence extended testing of three target gas bearing intervals of Oligocene-aged, Lower Miocene-aged and Middle Miocene-aged reservoirs, located between 2620m - 3320m. It's now 27th of November so more than 6 weeks? | loglorry1
28/11/2017 09:45 | I'm waiting for flow rates. If this one zone is even just 5 scuffs, let alone 20 odd given the size of the play and asset it'll still be a target for a bigger player. I'm a hold and watch this unfold in the coming weeks. | tickboo
28/11/2017 09:41 | Sounds like a gusher. | tidy 2
28/11/2017 09:32 | wright 84 on lse - Nice to see things going blue! Its to be expected that an old well is requiring an extended clean up. With the well being so deep the Soviets will have subjected the gas reservoir to the heavy mud for extended periods during the open hole drilling to stop the well kicking gas. As per producing, the formation is permeable so will flow both ways - i.e. drilling mud into it. Once cleaned up, we will then see just what's on offer flow rate wise. Hopefully the higher pressure deeper zones will not require the same degree of clean up. Once we get the flow rates, It will give a good indicator to the full reservoir characteristics then going forward especially if we drill new wells in the field where the process will be far more straight forward. These sort of delays were to be expected re-entering existing wells - especially after such a duration. | tickboo
28/11/2017 09:29 | 6 weeks of testing, what are you on about? It hadn't been perforated mid October so a few weeks of testing. Anyway, it's good news to see the Georgians are onside and I bet we get flow rates by Weds next week. | tickboo
28/11/2017 09:23 | The problem is people were expecting more progress on this given the time taken. | dodge city
28/11/2017 09:20 | It’s talked down because it’s a load of bull. | bumpa33
28/11/2017 09:15 | People were moaning due to no news and when we get some it's talked down. It's too early for flow rates, I imagine we'll get another RNS next week on them. Log said there was no flaring, there was and good to see the Georgians happy with the gas quality and can go into the network. This is a hold or add on dips for me. | tickboo
28/11/2017 09:10 | You don’t have to be brave, you just need to know how to trade the vol... | bumpa33
28/11/2017 09:05 | If you can’t see that this is just yet another stalling tactic and a bump to help YA offload, then good luck to you. | bumpa33
28/11/2017 09:03 | Buba and logman are brave shorting a share that is in uptrend trajectory specially an aim share when the herd moves in on a sniff of a rise | mick1909
28/11/2017 09:01 | I just can;t stay away and didn't find any sand. Dodge, I was en route to work so no chance to trade. I would have sold some up there, 2m or so and bought back to make a few quid but lost the chance. May get another but sentiment seems good so we'll see. | tickboo
28/11/2017 09:00 | A balanced view from mole on lose - 23Well it's no surprise they are taking their time here. They are learning as they go. First they have only done 1 of the 3 zones from what I can tell and are perfecting the technique to get this well to flow on a 20m section of the 700m to test. They have resorted to mild stimulation. So to do that they would have had to move the tracking fleet to Udabno from taribani compound. They are having to clean out the old Soviet heavy weighted mud. They have wisely not reported flow rates at this stage as they would be nothing like the final flow rates. The important part is the confirmation that the chemical composition matches that they find across the large expanse of block 12. Good interim update to shut up the negativeers. Brave to try and short or trade this from here. The final flow rates will get worked on now throughout December. They sound like they will be commercial. How commercial remains to be seen. | tickboo
28/11/2017 08:49 | It didn’t - and it ain’t gonna either. | bumpa33 |
