22/4/2024 21:45 | agree the Directors are very well rewarded not only direct remuneration but also with share options most of which are at a halfpenny. The executive directors are taking out over 1m: profits are about 1.9m... | c3479z
22/4/2024 08:15 | Hi there, I'm looking to invest in a company that is growing its assets. Ideally, it should be regularly showing decreasing earnings per share and shrinking retained cash flow. It would be a bonus if it regularly issued huge lumps of equity to pay for its growth so that I get nicely watered down over time. Ideally, management should be able to perpetually put a positive spin on proceedings and be able to pretend they are making heaps and heaps of money. It would be nice if they can then pay themselves accordingly to growth rather than earned profits. Would anyone be able to help point me in the right direction? | my retirement fund
28/2/2024 16:16 | Company and share price performance has been disappointing recently. Strenge move to appoint Chris Mills- an insider and fund manager as Chairman (look at the number of Boards he is on- a horrid case of over-boarding). I had a few interactions with the previous chair, who oddly is staying on the Board- and found him engaged and helpful. Unless the price starts to perform am going to dump my 20k of shares- should have put more into McBride rather than this one. | baldguvnor54
31/8/2023 11:25 | Yes they enjoy the support of the major shareholders, so can still get away with it. | my retirement fund
31/8/2023 09:15 | Quite the sign to see the major investor increasing their shareholding at these prices | 11023154
22/8/2023 20:41 | EPS has fallen from 1.85p to 1.4p. They have successfully raised capital from existing shareholders in order to buy turnover and destroy real term profitability. No wonder directors have been selling shares to fund overseas private residences or whatever it is they do with their eye-watering disproportionate income streams from the company. | my retirement fund

24/4/2023 12:22 | EPS fell from over 2p to just 1.5p per share chiefly due to massive dilution of equity during fundraising. Shocking ! | my retirement fund

26/10/2022 11:10 | Positive to see North Atlantic buying 6 million at 58p. Hopefully, this will give others the confidence to take this on to new highs. | westofengland
04/8/2022 13:37 | Well Michael Spencer reducing these days whenever there's enough liquidity to do so. Perhaps as a long term investor, he has gotten sick of the constant funding from book building placing which always hammer the share price and is starting to question when/if value is ever going to materialise from this strategy. | my retirement fund
01/8/2022 11:48 | Could do- markets cannot be helping their asset management business- expect AUM to be disappointing. All very quiet on acquisitions. I think price has further to fall, or least very hard to see where buyers are going to come from. | baldguvnor54
29/7/2022 12:15 | Back to 50p ? | my retirement fund
06/7/2022 13:04 | Agreed. I think my concern/anger is misplaced. Ever since they got rid of Richardson (god he was a useless greedy chairman) and brought in the City-man Linacre as Chairman, and particularly since Mills joined the Board, the Company has performed well- they have earned the benefit of the doubt- hope they invest the £10m well- and a good job raising the money in this market- again hats off to Mills. Time will tell | baldguvnor54
05/7/2022 20:31 | must have an acquisition in mind? | c3479z
05/7/2022 16:18 | Fund raise predictable (and annoying)- why do it in such an awful market? Are they that desperate for the funds? | baldguvnor54
05/7/2022 14:45 | Usual discounted fund raising not open to retail investors so share price hammered with no recourse | my retirement fund |
