WiMAX offers high-speed internet coverage to rival traditional broadband and ADSL, and will enable voice applications from remote locations with a system that is expected to provide download speeds of up to 15 Mbps. Apart from the increased download speeds, other benefits to the system include the simple plug-and-play technology and Mumtel's value-added services for business.
