26/5/2022 15:36 | I not sure it will be 'taken out'. I could be wrong of course but it seems to me that FOXT is the the one doing the 'taking out'. It could shoot up quick if earnings go positive this year but being hungry for prey it may stay unprofitable for the next couple of years. Who knows. | indiestu
26/5/2022 11:52 | Good acquisition today, Foxtons is London's largest lettings agency now and this will be great for steady cashflow This really is a sitting duck to be taken out at £1+ imo | topazfrenzy
20/5/2022 15:56 | Is this a possible bottom forming? Sitting on a Fib 76 retracement from the recent rally high. MACD Histogram turning, momentum divergence over the last ten days, RSI popping its head above the oversold 30. London rental prices going through he roof! | indiestu
05/5/2022 22:18 | I make you're right Kand, it looks positively grim out there. | plat hunter
05/5/2022 19:59 | I am all cash. It's all heading to toilet town for a couple of cycles, I'll get back in after that has passed / bottomed | kand17
05/5/2022 08:14 | Yeah, i was hoping for a day or two trade back to 44p but may cut it. I feer sub 40 is looking nailed on | plat hunter
04/5/2022 19:51 | I'm out, sold last week. | kand17
04/5/2022 08:51 | Plat the plonker mugging people off again.? | iglenn
03/5/2022 13:34 | Up we go, buckle up peeps! | plat hunter
27/4/2022 10:55 | About 7p off its recent high. I got in at 30, so still okay, but honestly thought this would have started to bump back up by the end of April ready for the div x and the June half year meeting. Must be china and geopolitical stuff that's dragging it down. | kand17
26/4/2022 19:53 | Timing is always tricky yep. But I knew in the low thirties this was ridiculously good value. London rents will continue rising they say, and I expect capital values will too at least for the coming couple of years ahead of a general election. Its a matter of time before Foxtons is bought out in my opinion. I wonder what Knight Frank thinks... | dt1010
25/4/2022 19:08 | I agree DT, but you never did responsd to my questions about the cup n handle. From memory that's what you'd stated. I agree, it's currently undervalued and value will out at some point. As you say, timing that is tricky. | stupmy
25/4/2022 11:11 | "Just reading the charts"I'd send off for a braille version, if I was you DT | plat hunter
25/4/2022 10:23 | I wasnt quoting you, just the general output from many of the members on the vast majority of threads on here... chart says this, chart says that, moon and back bla bla bla I'm long to a point, depends what way the general economy goes. I too think this one will get sold which is why I bought in, but Id be happy to see the company buck its ideas up too. | kand17
25/4/2022 09:02 | where does it say by next week?? I have invested in this. At some point I believe it will be sold. But either way its cheap. Am happy to hold this for the long term. If you want moon by next week, go buy hopium in crypto. | dt1010
25/4/2022 07:37 | Quite a few rampers in these forums eh... 'to the moon by next week, honest, the chart says... | kand17
24/4/2022 15:31 | Just reading the chart chap. | dt1010
23/4/2022 08:55 | Got a be sell signal if DT is ramping | plat hunter
22/4/2022 16:02 | bull flag forming here | dt1010
22/4/2022 12:55 | Not sure where this is going... any more rumours on a buyout? | kand17
21/4/2022 08:24 | 1st Q trading up date in line with expectations. Lettings up 21%, mortgage broking up 5% but sales down 9% (total revenues up 8%). Looks ok to me. | stupmy
19/4/2022 21:28 | I hardly ever loot at charts other than to see historical highs and lows... just buy in the price and recent news and sell when I've hit a decent enough return and hope to time right or at least right for what i need... don't see the point in chart gazing calls are only right 50% of the time anyway? | kand17
19/4/2022 13:06 | DT, could you pm me with a chart to show your cup n handle. I don't see that forming clearly. I don't necessarily disagree with your view of higher prices to come, but don't see the cup 'n' handle. I could imagine that an inverse head 'n' shoulders could form (but for the moment it's ust wishful thinking), that could also be viewed as a triangle formation. All of it looks very speculative to me and I'd argue that no-one can see into the future so projecting possible patterns that haven't formed, then assuming that they price breaks out of them to the upside seems like a wing and a prayer. Worth watching, but not something to salivate over. On the other hand, the fundamental background here does suggest the possibility of higher prices. | stupmy
15/4/2022 17:22 | a handle is about to complete here on a cup and handle formation that will actually take this to 65p+ It will still be cheap at that point IMO. | dt1010
13/4/2022 13:41 | Yeh hope so! I think this is one that will enjoy a 'end to war in Ukraine' and a more stable geopolitical environment too. If the bullsh1t 9th May victory day happens I think the whole market will lift 3-5% regardless. | kand17 |
