In the same way as it makes no difference if I bought at 79p or 187.5p...until I come to sell. Those are the prices his £2m worth have been based on, and would have been on 1st June.

By waiting until 20 June he got almost 140% more (i.e. 2.4 times) than on 1 June.

The £2m shares won't be bought in the market. They'll be a separate admission. I'm not sure when - probably need to delve deper into the admission document.

I'd suggest the admission document is essential reading for anyone serious in investing in FOOT, which I suspect doesn't apply to anyone here!

It's interesting that the Special Award was to be granted:

"on becoming an employee on or around 1 June 2018"

and

"will be granted the Special Award over such number of Ordinary Shares(calculated by reference to the closing mid-market price of an Ordinary Share on the Dealing Day immediately prior to the grant) which will have an aggregate market value of £2 million."

In other words, he benefits significantly from the award being granted on 20 June, rather than 1 June. Hmmm!

Perhaps that should have been a sign. If they'd expected the price to go up, the Award would have been granted before results? Or wouldn't that not have been permitted as close period?

So it's a bonus basically for tenure? But have the £2million shares been bought from the market right now, if so could the market makers have take down the price to fill the order for them? Or are these shares not even issued yet but to be issued in a few years when it's time - AND will this result in dillution?

It's currently 76 regardless of how you want to trade on HL
