15/3/2012 16:45 | Hi dreggs, So what's your verdict re the RNS just out? I am happy with the sale of the Kenyan interests and the profit realised. This increases the options open to management, once the Wiktop study has been completed. This from the Operations Update, dated 22 February:- Upgrade Evaluation "The Company has commissioned a study to evaluate the potential to increase the ore head grade into the milling circuit using electronic ore sorting. A five tonne bulk sample is scheduled to be tested in Germany during March. In addition to potentially increasing the head grade into the milling circuit, the study will evaluate an expansion of the crushing circuit in order to increase overall production capacity. The initial results of the study are anticipated to be available in the Quarter ending 30 June 2012." So we can expect an update in the results, due before the end of March, before the results of the study are published sometime before the end of June 2012. A lot will of course depend on the Fluorspar price and how that will affect profitability. I think we could have real interest here tomorrow morning. We will see. | howdlep
13/3/2012 08:14 | I am staying put here, I am also sure all the management are doing thier best to get the production up, there was always a chance of teething troubles ..... | dreggspicker
13/3/2012 07:26 | That is the AIM for you. I have been playing this market for over 20 years and it have masive swings. but have also lost a lot waiting for the big one. | vauch
12/3/2012 19:12 | howdlep, since all the other stocks I hold are in a similar situation - great potential but share price continuing to drift - I know I won't improve matters by moving elsewhere. the only alternative would be to sell up everything, but with prices flat on their back that seems a senseless thing to do, even if shortterm prices might go lower still. either one believes the market eventually turns or one doesn't. but it can be hellish frustrating having to wait so long. | backmarker
12/3/2012 15:34 | Afternoon all, one or two subtle posts on here of late. I have no problem with that and would most certainly be adding on any weakness. Remember an share price of 50p is only 2p in old Maghreb money and FLOR are now, already, a vastly enhanced company. With production increases and acquisitions to follow, I would not even consider selling to buy back lower. Try and buy FLOR stock after an EPS enhancing acquistion. 06/3/2012 14:42 | backmarker, without news this is going back to 40 pence, people dont have patience anymore, can hardly blame them after the suspension delay, maybe punters think they can make a fast buck elsewhere but i aint selling of mine, might even top up in low 40`s. | pisces4
01/3/2012 09:24 | can't see much downside from 50p, but suspect it will be a while now before we get another upward boost. very tempting to abandon these temporarily and try and catch a ride elsewhere, but that's a tactic that rarely works for me. so I'll hang on for now in the expectation that we'll hit 100+ easily within the next 6 months. | backmarker
23/2/2012 16:59 | and we should not forget the increase of the ave price to $466 from $388, which we knew whould be happpening, but it is nice to see it in writing ......... I am feeling more +ve today, no big sell off, in fact some buying .... :+} | dreggspicker
23/2/2012 16:34 | Bit of positive spin here.... and www.4-traders.com/MA which notes... Fluormin (AIM: FLOR) provides the following operational update in relation to the ongoing ramp up of operations at Witkop, the Company's principal fluorspar operation. | borisimo
23/2/2012 11:14 | I would not b suprised if some directers are not topping up now we have had a update ......... | dreggspicker
23/2/2012 09:06 | still think we will be hearing of some acquisition news v soon so glad they have got this out of the way first. just a hunch.... | dime
23/2/2012 08:23 | well no panic in the ranks, so far, ..... Looks like you maybe right enigma, the ones who are still in can see the bigger picture, and well, any thing under a quid can't be bad ! | dreggspicker
22/2/2012 23:05 | its thinly traded there arent a lot of retail punters to be panicked out by an rns so a sell off if any probably wont be as bad as on more popular aim shares. people in here will have done their research for the most part and a small production hiccup wont scare them away. on the flip side the low liquidity means a few sells could drive the price down substantially.. i expect we will see tomorrow :D. | enigma2002
22/2/2012 23:01 | So presumably expecting a bit of selling and a drift down in the share price ...or am I being rather negative? | borisimo
22/2/2012 21:24 | backmarker, It would need to be a huge booboo to be tossed into the crusher !!!!!!!!!! nasty !!! | dreggspicker
22/2/2012 18:50 | james, they have opened up a new pit there with 5 giant trucks which won't have been cheap, I presume it was paid for in Q2, but we probably will not have had the benefit of the production there as they were removing the overburden, grade I was told at that presentation before Xmas is 12% which is good, so Q3 I will expect a increase in the grade if nothing else ........ and I would expect them to give alittle credit to customers ..... dreggs | dreggspicker
22/2/2012 18:03 | Hey Looking at the results, cash seems to have gone down by $1.4 M (excluding the highlighted exceptional payments during the Q) Q on Q. Any idea's if the company are selling on credit, or is it just a case that group costs are exceeding profits from witcop? Be interested to hear others (more knowledgable posters) thoughts. regards james | jamesiecakes
22/2/2012 17:36 | dreggs, it sounded like someone wasn't pulling their weight, or committed a booboo of some kind, and has ended up in the crusher. | backmarker
22/2/2012 17:25 | yes agreed dreggs. Tonnage disappointing as you say, due to water shortages and grade. But at 50p this is 2p in old money, which prices in any problems they have had. With cash in the bank it is lunancy to be selling here. However, if there are any sellers tomorrow in what will be a thin market, I suspect one or two people will be looking to pickup cheap stock.... | howdlep
22/2/2012 17:19 | This is a strange phase though, it almost sounds like they have had some ding-dongs down there; "Whilst plant performance has been satisfactory, plant availability has continued to impact production post 31 December 2011. Recent changes in the management of the engineering and maintenance function are anticipated to improve plant availability." Or am I reading too much into it ..... | dreggspicker
22/2/2012 17:05 | Say a PE of 5 we would get to 90p ....... Which I would consider fair + £7m in the bank ........ | dreggspicker
22/2/2012 16:45 | if we said $150 profit per tonne, then at 16000 tns we have $2.4m x 4 = $9.6m + Kimweer + Fluorone say $15m ? min this year? = 18p per share ish But with room for improvement !! Oh don't forget the £7m in the bank .... Not too shabby I suppose .........dreggs looking forward to other folks thoughts ......... And the share trading in the morning | dreggspicker
22/2/2012 16:36 | RNS is out, looks like we have had a few probs in the last Q, production at Witcop at only 15895 tns, due to water shortages and a slightly lower ore grade, so no fireworks, yet. Shame and damn ....... but on the positive side we have a average of $466 pt also we still have $10m in the bank, even after spending circa $10 on the Sallies buy-out and a loan to fluorone .... A slightly disappointed, dreggs | dreggspicker
21/2/2012 22:08 | yes excellent. Thanks for that | howdlep |
