23/9/2019 21:38 | I'm beginning to get the feeling the numbers may be lacklustre tomorrow - don't know why. Just doesn't seem to be much interest in this share at present. Come on Flotech Fluidpower prove me wrong - has "harvesting the synergies" started to have an effect? Or has the unwinding of the Brexit stockpiling been the undoing of Q2? Fils | fillspectre
22/9/2019 21:53 | Very thin volumes at the moment with this share. Interims on Tuesday and hopefully an announcement on the interim dividend. Fils | fillspectre
15/8/2019 23:19 | something up at the mill the share price has cratered | creditcrunchies
23/7/2019 22:42 | The share price seems to be recovering nicely in July towards the May highs of 148p which were reached before the ex-div day of the 6th June. Fils | fillspectre
12/7/2019 10:07 | Well, err no, quite. The roentgen or röntgen (/ˈrɛnt Which is fascinating of course. Meanwhile I can't help but feel that the fall since the last TS (which was pretty good|) relates to 2 concerns: The first being that the economic woes that beset the global and european economies would have impacted here. The second being that the mutiple changes being made to the FLO group operations, might not be going according to plan. Obviously much more detail will be available in the results but the TS seems to indicte things are on track operationaly so perhaps that recent fall is a tad overdone? Largely I see this one as a bit of a turnaround story in a reslient sector which should produce solid returns mid-term. Some patience may be required as things pan out I suspect. | thorpematt
12/7/2019 08:03 | 18.8 roentgen. Not great, not terrible. | psync
12/7/2019 07:53 | An ok but unexciting trading statement for H1. Not likely to move the price very much, I think. At least we now know not to expect any nasty surprises in September interims. A subdued economic background should already be baked into the outlook and share price | boadicea
12/7/2019 07:49 | Trading statement out - no surprises. | this_is_me
10/7/2019 20:31 | I think that the TS will be next week. I think Tuesday. I think also notice of results will be released. The big trades are relative: The volume here is often a quite insignificant and then when an insti buys or sells the volume looks big. I find that some small / mid-caps have similar trading patterns. it does create some good buying opportunities if you wish to buy in cheap and some nice sell opportunities if you wish to sell on a short-term spike. I thnik that many of the institutional investors trade on risk, related to wider economic or political news, and that does lead them to move the price (particularly when we have low-summer type volumes). Sometimes PIs read a little too much into these movements. It's understandable that they do but it's to be avoided if possible. | thorpematt
09/7/2019 19:53 | Big volumes these last two days - anyone got any analysis on them? Trading statement this week do we think. If not this week certainly next. Fils | fillspectre
03/7/2019 19:55 | I'm thinking the same thing as you guys. Unless something has substantially materially changed the July trading statement should confirm we are at least meeting expectations plus we are going to get paid 4.04 per share on Friday for those holding on when the share went ex-divi. I'm also expecting the trading statement to confirm some more debt has been paid off and the working capital position has been improved. Fils. PS Redsquirrel13 did you take a look at SCE - the longstanding ADVFN board members are getting excited after a recent RNS posted 28th June and share price starting to move out of the doldrums. | fillspectre
03/7/2019 10:24 | Thinking of adding too. This price seems very low unless bad news has leaked... | shaker44
03/7/2019 10:03 | Well I've bought back in to Flowtech at 127p, hope I don't regret it! | redsquirrel13
29/6/2019 21:12 | We are into July on Monday - within a fortnight we should have both a decent new trading statement and payment of the 4.04p per share dividend. Could focus minds. Fils | fillspectre
19/6/2019 23:42 | Small volume for such a big indicated rise. Can't really believe it has gone up 5% on 40K of volume - still the last buyers of the day buying at 140p. Looking forward to the July trading statement which, given the AGM statement and indication, is unlikely to contain any nasty surprises. Fils | fillspectre
12/6/2019 22:59 | Redsquirrel - if you are looking for high risk capital gain start keeping a weather eye on Surface Transforms (SCE). Holding SCE long term has been frustrating - but that might be about to change. That said I'm touching wood and crossing everything. If it starts winning OEM contracts we could see a lot of compounding of growth - but please do your own research. Other than that are you in other speculative stocks like drug stocks such a FUM or are you having a play in the nascent hydrogen fuel cell or hydrogen production stocks? Given some of my other holdings I am happy to have regular payer FLO. Plus I picked up my first packets of shares at just over a £1 when they dipped some months after I first read about them in Simon Thomson's comment section. | fillspectre
12/6/2019 10:32 | I hope for your sakes it doesn't go back down to that level, but still a way to get back to 145p so still happy with my decision. I am at a stage in life where I am building my assets. In fifteen to twenty years I will probably have a different view as income will be more key and the dividend will be more important to me. | redsquirrel13
11/6/2019 22:28 | I'm liking this rally so close after xd date. Could it be the AGM impressed! Certainly a glossy annual report has tumbled through my letterbox today. Flowtech reckon they have 11% of UK market and only 2% of Belgium's - so there is growth potential. I'm not sure you are going to see 125p for a while redsquirrel - sorry to say I hope not too! Fils | fillspectre
10/6/2019 11:26 | I don't have any firm plans about this stock, permanently reviewing the situation and learning along the way! I originally bought in at 125p so if it headed back down that way (and it is on its way) I might dabble again. I will add there are other stocks where I haven't had the same success before people think I am some whizz, I am most definitely not! | redsquirrel13
07/6/2019 17:22 | What price would you be prepared to buy back in at redsquirrel - or will you stay out over Summer. Does the promised July trading statement have any hope of changing your mind? Fils | fillspectre
06/6/2019 14:18 | And it is down to 140p now. If you add up the dividend price per share and any dealing cost it is probably about evens for those who held compared to those who sold at 145p. | redsquirrel13
06/6/2019 09:31 | It is xd today so the last day to buy with the div was yesterday. | sharw
05/6/2019 23:31 | It seems a reasonable AGM statement - bland but at least no shocks. I am happy to hold. Recently I have wrongly been reporting the final dividend is 4.4p - I need to creep a 0 in - it is 4.04p. Correct me if I'm wrong but the last day to have bought these shares to gain the dividend was Monday 3rd June - or has the no. of working days to complete a share sale come down again? | fillspectre
05/6/2019 11:16 | I liquidated last week at 145p as there was enough profit in the share price rise for me to not risk the price going down. Not unrelated, the share price often adjusts to reflect the value being taken out of the company at the payment of the dividend. hxxps://www.investop | redsquirrel13
05/6/2019 10:56 | if no-one sold any shares there would be none to buy. It's a market. | alter ego |
