01/4/2004 22:38 | rossco do you have any comments as to why we've had a 13% increase over the last two days? Is it an oversold bounce or a possibility of some action? C2I. | contrarian2investor
28/1/2004 19:22 | c2i Reasonably happy with the results. Small profit increase and the dividend up 20%. There are both positive and negative comments from the chairman but overall I remain postive for the company and will continue to hold. I bought in fifteen months ago. At 25p it was yielding 4% and historically has paid out 4p per share. Any increase in profit is liklely to lead to higher dividends and eventually a higher share price. FLK also has a healthy cash balance. The stake building by District and Urban Group does add interest to the share. rossco | rossco
25/1/2004 22:07 | rossco the results came out on 22/1/04 what do think of them? Comments welcomed. c2i. | contrarian2investor
09/1/2004 20:24 | The interims were out in January last year. Does anyone know when results are due in 2004? | rossco
08/12/2003 11:33 | Any other holders out there...? Any commemnts. Or is this just bottom drawer stuff (buy them and forget them)for the patient holders. | contrarian2investor
10/10/2003 23:33 | ydder I firmly agree with your sentiments. With everything i've read recently about the general housing market for the rest of the year and next year. Additionally with interest rates held again for the third month in succession it can only be good news for flk.IMHO flk could be re-rated prior the their next results. Patient holders will be rewarded, I for one will be holding and topping up should any major dips appear. | contrarian2investor
09/9/2003 21:01 | Certainly more share trades since the results came out. Trade of 40000 today just at the bell. | rossco
03/9/2003 09:33 | Forget all that nonsense and buy more FLK - the tone of the Savills statement and the firmness of the property sector recently suggests strongly that the bottom has been reached my friends! | ydderf
02/9/2003 21:46 | can anyone tell me why my posts continually come up with edit still on them. Help not very good with these computers unfortunately. Thanks in advance. | contrarian2investor
02/9/2003 15:23 | get a move on you cfders - you know it's worth more than this! | ydderf
26/8/2003 11:49 | Hi rossco Your comments are much appreciated. I guess we are in for the slow (but inevitable) burn. This one will pay for the those like us that are patient. | contrarian2investor
25/8/2003 20:18 | I also think that FLK is undervalued. I first bought shares in the company last October after coming across details about FLK on subten.com. I was attracted by the fact that all their earnings are paid out in dividend which was at the rate of 4p just 3 years ago. If profits make a recovery a dividend yield at 25p of 16% seems possible and an increase in share price inevitable. Also net assets are 2.4m and there is interest receivable each year. When D&U can on the scene I bought some more in April. I am not concerned that the directors have not been buying as they hold 15% currently. I am pleased that the recent announcement held the dividend and am thinking of buying more shares. I looked into D&U and found that the net assets were about 16m and so could certainly afford to buy many more shares. | rossco
17/8/2003 15:21 | After watching this stock for sometime I purchased a small amount this week. It as not followed the rest of Real Estate sector which as had average a 30%+ increase since April 2003. Is this purely because it is micro-cap stock? District and Urban appear to be to the only real purchaser of this stock, even FLK's own Directors don't appear to be interested in making significant purchases. Can anyone out there tell me why? Personally I think this is a significantly undervalued stock which if the general Housing market remains in positive territory over the next 12 month will be nice bolt-on acquisition for a larger player. I know that there are other loyal and patient FLK's shareholders out there. So I would love to hear your comments and suggestions. | contrarian2investor
06/5/2002 19:41 | profit warning, but at market cap -2m and cash 1.2m and still profitable, paying divs, and timing differences suggest much better year for both businesses in prospect imho + plus it has a full quote and, and, and, only prob is that it is very illiquid......you can only buy in (modest) size at times like this | ydderf
03/5/2002 11:34 | Any reason for the near 30% fall today? Is anyone out there?? Coooooooooeeeeeee. | happygolucky
16/12/2001 11:01 | nice yield - pity about the lack of interest here (strong correlation between shares which fall and interest on this bb imho - look at the threads on marconi, etc) | ydderf
21/11/2001 20:20 | sudden movement and narrowing of the spread...........hmm | ydderf |
