From what I can see, the devices alone should generate over £1,5mil revenue.
Looks like share is massively discounted.
I'm in long term.

I took my profits,selling out at .45.
This may prove to be not the most profitable exit point but there does seem to be a serious amount of "pumping" around this morning.

Should the "dump" follow then I will be more than pleased to reinvest at sub .20,for there may be bigger fish to fry down the line.

the exciting news I believe is that this is proven technology and the contract is a big enough number to start with to show that the plan is good. Now that this is underway others will look at it knowing it has been tried and tested so contracts should be easier to capture off the back of this one....anyone agree

The Asian market is huge and I would expect they are working on more contracts off the back of this one. Look forward to further RNSs in due course and further large share price raises as well. Clearly this stock is undervalued and the market reaction today proves this.

Morning all,

That is great news...the fact that they can still sell is great. Market is liking this indeed.

Note not even related to sally gunnell contract so, the pipeline could be building as a result of this...may need more funding to fund these contracts...hence the new NOMAD?

gl imo to the holder, well done

CHESTY1 - Still riding free shares. I'm actually looking to repurchase some assuming it cools down, else still benefiting, though to a lesser extent. Risk mitigation for me, it's still hemorrhaging cash.

what I fail to understand is, lots of people purchased fitbits at xmas. so what's their revenue going to be like, whats their possible profit if any.

There are copies out there, similar products though which may mean their life span is limited. If they can build a community feel around the technology, well being, then this will help. The watch alone won't last.

Hi mudbath11,

Maybe you can help me. Do they not have a CTO of some sort who was behind the product?

Marketplace scale up?

150K is an acceptable rate of pay for a role in London. It's not out of the ordinary for perm CTO or lead to be paid 130/150K a year plus. 2001, it was 90K, so goes without saying, 15 years on, inflation bumps it to 150K

Well if this is cost cutting .....

"Fitbug are seeking to recruit a Chief Technology Officer for a Marketplace Scale-Up,encompassing a £150k++ package."

Other AIM companies manage to finance a full BOD on less.

Still, the package dovetails nicely with the general largesse that Fitbug demonstrates with pay levels,as seen for example in 2015, when just 27 staff mopped up £2,063,000.

I sold my stake at 0.27p holding the profit as equity as I think the reaction is overcooked. Free stock, so win win. Good luck day traders.

Sorry but 14,000 is smallfry

It's a step in the right direction but more than matched by the price rise currently.

Only a £3.4m mcap. This is tiny compared with many wearable tech companies who are still in the development or pre production stages with mcaps many multiples of FITB due to being over hyped. FITB at these levels has suddenly been de-risked compared with its peers and should have an mcaps to show where they now sit in the market. 14,000 units is not smallfry!!!
