14/6/2016 09:30 | I have a lot of respect for John Lee. Another investor with sound investment principles and a very good demonstrable track record. His book is a very good read. | michaelmouse
14/6/2016 07:53 | Respect for J Leehas hit a new low He talks the talk about buying quality and then buys rubbish. Illiquid rubbish witha micro cap aka ramping rubbish. | onjohn
14/6/2016 07:51 | Yes he's a great track record in small caps. He's been a holder of a few I've owned and still own over the years. | battlebus2
14/6/2016 07:37 | I have had the pleasure of meeting John Lee a couple of times at various investing events and am equally pleased that he is invested in FISH.https://audiobo | norbert colon
10/6/2016 10:02 | Yes the Fish are still rising.... | battlebus2

09/6/2016 14:05 | It wouldn't surprise me. Someone like Go Outdoors would be a good fit. | nickjoseph
07/6/2016 12:10 | What I like about the move is that its on increased volume. In other words, sellers are getting accommodated. Does it mean that someone is stake building as well? | brownie69
06/6/2016 18:21 | Well I know that lol. Only too happy to admit it. | battlebus2
06/6/2016 17:54 | Thanks michaelmouse, it's the contributions made by some very intelligent investors that make it. Thanks to Norbert from me also as I'd never have bought into here either if he hadn't posted about it on the thread. | battlebus2
06/6/2016 17:18 | bb2 - I like your thread btw. Just lurking at the moment. | michaelmouse
06/6/2016 16:24 | Yes this one is still confounding the critics :)) | battlebus2
06/6/2016 16:21 | Norbert - Thanks for bringing this company to my attention. Although (as a general rule) I'm not keen on new issues, I bought some at 17p following some research when you brought the company to my attention. Excellent performer to date. I owe you one. Thanks. | michaelmouse
06/6/2016 14:23 | Something seems to be up. share price racing ahead today, +16% at time writing. Big news coming maybe? | brownie69
24/5/2016 10:35 | Brownie I am not expecting much newsflow now and mgt have confirmed that the next few months are all about sales now that they have another 3 stores trading / operational. Any news of further acquisitions is most likely to occur towards the end of this year once the main summer / autumn fishing season has concluded. | norbert colon
24/5/2016 09:27 | SP seems to be taking off again. I noticed a larger chunk going through last week so maybe a seller cleared? Starting to get towards fair value now thus I guess we are looking for more newsflow then to keep driving it. | brownie69
17/5/2016 10:48 | Anyone attending the AGM today? | norbert colon
09/5/2016 12:43 | Read Northland Capital Partners's note on FISHING REPUBLIC PLC (FISH), out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research "Fishing equipment and consumables retailer Fishing Republic reported a flat underlying profit in 2015 but it is set to more than double its profit this year. The initial investments after last year’s flotation are beginning to pay off and there are more consolidation opportunities. In 2015, revenues grew from £3.39m to £4.12m, while underlying pre-tax profit rose from £295,000 to £305,000.." | thomasthetank1
