I believe this is only for the extension though? |
Put simply in order of importance:
1 - Grade. 2 - Ore body Depth. 3 - Thickness. 4 - Size. |
Trading economics showing Tin price on the rise .... |
Is this not about size rather than grade though, given that similar grades elsewhere were already known? |
Not good drill results at all as the average grade seems to be around 0.15% which is well in the Low grade category.
Over 2% is considered to be Very High grade, 1% High grade and 0.5% Average grade, Low grade is below 0.27%.
Can see why the majors are not interested in these projects. |
Generally,Moderately,Approximately. Not the greatest selection of language |
What do folk make of those results? |
@tinpricebot on Twitter seems be the closest to real time from what I can gather. |
Which is the most reliable tin price? There are multiple sites all showing different prices, I find. |
Yeah you can currently buy at 7.66p, just waiting for this to get noticed. |
Last trade me topping up |

Yes ta for that Parob - good luck all |
Fair play, you called that tick up. The gearing into the tin price is significant here, so fingers crossed that the current momentum continues. |
Tin futures surged above $25,600 per tonne, the highest in over three weeks on expectations of a supply shortage in the global tin market. Despite China's slow demand recovery, the upcoming prohibition of tin mining in Myanmar's Wa region and Indonesia's export ban on tin ingots are set to significantly tighten the market. Starting from August 1, 2023, all mining activities, including exploration and processing, will be suspended in the Wa state to preserve remaining resources. Additionally, Indonesia aims to encourage domestic processing by banning the export of tin ingots. Looking ahead, prices are expected to continue rising in the long term, supported by strong demand from the energy transition and green technologies such as solar panels and electric vehicles, along with the persistent tightness in the market.https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/tin |
Tin price up again and closing in on $26000.hTTps://twitter.com/tinpricebot/status/1666302076065046528?s=61&t=OPWPOeWZxD1L0Ap29u5T3A Hopefully it will break northwards soon and the 1SN share price will go with it. |
Would be nice to see a run up into the 11-12p area which I think is fair value personally, given the great projects they have. |
Yup interesting burst of buying indeed |
We'll probably end up red again :( |
Yes, it is worth repeating that this is one for the patient. Though if the tin price spikes in the meantime, this will go with it. |
That's Q3 2024, not 2023. |
Good progress. If they're hoping for a decision in 4 months they must know that the permitting authorities are in strong support. |
