30/10/2007 17:46 | Let's hope its not eel like. I'd like to see a strong rise from a good low entry point, e.g. £2. I guess I can dream, can't I? | chopsy
30/10/2007 16:11 | Chopsy - is this the EEL BB? FPL double bottom is $4.14 - BUT that was at an exchange rate of $2.20 -> £1 So not sure if that is a factor in the next bottom. May be a low placing in the works. The instis always know the placing price and short it down accordingly | omellete
30/10/2007 16:04 | Going for db on TSX | chopsy
26/10/2007 19:51 | Sat - You were Hardly ramping. I did not realise that EEL was a subsidiary of ERG!!!! | omellete
26/10/2007 19:45 | Olmert, Coldip may have been refering to me...when it was 250p! | sat69
26/10/2007 19:20 | Coldip - which rampers? The ones from when it was over £5 or the ones from when it was £10? | omellete
26/10/2007 19:11 | Hi codlip, i have recently bought in with a long term view and i need some help with a question, once production starts how quickly can they gear it up? Read my previous posts to get the just of it. Responce from any readers welcomed. | sakisit
26/10/2007 08:44 | Who are thses new people on yhis thread!!! where have all the rampers gone................ | coldip
24/10/2007 20:26 | No, not yet, the trend is still down. Nearly double bottom on canuk chart, but still a way to go on lse. Keep watching. | chopsy
24/10/2007 19:19 | Hi chopsy, im not a swing trader. Have you bought in yet? | sakisit
24/10/2007 08:13 | How do you work that out, the share price is going down. The traders will get another cheaper entry point. | chopsy
23/10/2007 18:50 | No buys on the LSE for the last two days. No response from any traders. Thats good news. Looking good for long term holders. | sakisit
22/10/2007 21:41 | Similarly my calculations suggest the takeover price per share once the reserves are developed would be £32 if the oil price remains constant. | sakisit
20/10/2007 21:30 | £6+ is close enough for me omellete thanks. Any bid would rise with increasing oil prices - so thats in my favour at the moment. Looks good for your buys chopsy/omellete. They say they will file a development plan in 1Q 2008 and hope for production to start in 2010. They estimate development will cost upto $1.3 billion. I guess this means 2 or 3 more share placings and a larger loan. Another thing im unsure of is how quickly they can gear up production once it starts. Can they achieve 324k+ say within 2 years or is that nonsense? Omellete? | sakisit
19/10/2007 22:43 | OK, dow down 366pts, maybe I'll get another chance here for a cheap entry point. | chopsy
19/10/2007 20:23 | Sakisit- Bid price would be £6 quid plus IMO - but that is not the issue here. Currently it is swing traded by the Canadians - up and down. I don't short - but the best thing to do is to buy on the dip, hold with a stop loss IMO. That way - if it really is going all the way you will make a lot of money. if not then you won't lose too much. | omellete
18/10/2007 19:08 | Hey chopsy, imagine what the share price would be if they were producing it now. Im a day dreamer not a day trader. Any thoughts on bid price omellete. | sakisit
18/10/2007 18:40 | 324k now and is increasing all the time, 10 million shares traded on the TSX the other day, 100k broker buy on the LSE today. What are they worth bid wise? My calculations come out as £8+. Is that right? | sakisit
18/10/2007 11:50 | Chopsy - I always use a tight stop loss with this one - so have not been caught out as yet. But I did post that one should not trust the Canadians at all as they just take it up and down continually - hence not a real Buy and Hold for me - as yet. Price in the UK is only a reflection of the real action in Canada. One day the Canucks will take it right back up, but that will not happen until either a bid or finance is sorted out. | omellete
18/10/2007 08:08 | Swing not day. I meant no current route, i.e. why are the 300k boepd not being produced now. | chopsy
17/10/2007 22:27 | Your a day trader i take it chopsy? Not me. No route to market? That sounds damning. They seem like a good buy to me. Please explain. Thanks in advance. | sakisit
17/10/2007 22:06 | Just remind me please, why is there no route to market for production? | chopsy
17/10/2007 22:04 | I only made a little trade profit over the last two weeks, I've never been a holder, though I admire the proven reserves. | chopsy
17/10/2007 20:52 | You sold out completly chopsy? | sakisit
17/10/2007 20:39 | Om, I got out at the right moment here. Good longterm, I hope you didn't take a hit here in the last few days. | chopsy |
