jack,

Are you an existing holder averaging down or a new holder out of interest?

Either way good luck, we must be surely be near the bottom now?

Notice that there is an investors presentation on the FDI website from a few weeks ago, mentions how undervalue the company is with the current share price You would think the directors would be making significant investments themselves if that were the case.

Don't bother mdalos1. He talks pseudo-intelligent on other boards too. He's either a bot or a bottom.

advfn have FDI Market cap 14.48M
advfn have FDI Profit as -13.28M

There is quite a diametric difference between the two

Should the FDI Market cap 13.28M comes next then the juxtapose will be very interesting

The fall from grace of FDI should serve as a statuary lesson on AIM mining stocks

The stock lost 50% of its value from issue, and dropped 50% and more another 8 times minimum is fairly short timescales, 3 of which have been in the last 2 years.

OK it did rise sharply a few times due to the ''lemming effect'' of PI's

@Andy : I naively did not think the Chinese would get into diamond production - thought it would be from Europe or Russia.
But, yes, where there is an expectation of a profit the Chinese will dive into it.

This doesn't read well, and to be honest f they look the same to the naked eye, why bother going to the expense of digging them up in the first place?

I have always thought synthetics were a danger, and now it's coming to pass.

Still looking shaky re share price, MMs not willing to take on much stock

Think at the time they were desperate to put out any positive slant to give support to the share price and still are really. It showed at the time big stones are possible and that they can be recoved undamaged.

The 46 carat went for $1m so if like for like we are looking $1.5m which would add $7 per carat for the quarter. Don't want to be greedy but it would be nice to find another

At least with this stone they will be able to get a average diamond price for the next sale of ~low US70s versus the mid US$60s.
