Firering Strategic Minerals plc....... announces the appointment of FOREMI (part of Foraco International SA ("Foraco")), as its diamond drill contractor for the planned 3,000m drilling campaign at its flagship Atex dual Lithium-Tantalum Project ("Atex"), in the Côte d'Ivoire.

-- FOREMI to spearhead 3,000m of diamond drilling scheduled to commence in mid-Q2 2022 - 11 drill targets identified to intercept the potentially lithium bearing pegmatite veins at Atex.

Yuval Cohen, CEO of Firering, said:

" The appointment of FOREMI marks another major milestone for Firering as we embark on the next all-important phase of core drilling at our flagship Atex dual Lithium-Tantalum Project to intercept fresh pegmatite. The world urgently needs more critical minerals, and we believe that the Atex Project has the potential to become the next major lithium resource in West Africa.

"FOREMI is a highly reputable drilling contractor with extensive experience in West Africa with tier-one miners and we look forward to working with them on site in the months ahead as we progress Atex to the next phase."

Is there anyone actually awake at this company? I had expected a bit more news flow from a new listing, they need to get the market's attention. Photos of holes on twitter isn't going to cut it.

I have a few here but the geology is complex. Needs more definition from the drillbit hence some sellers I guess. Looks a big resource though.

Altus Strategies* (ALS LN) 55p, Mkt Cap £64m – Toura Ni-Co royalty secured

BUY – 111p

The Company sold a 100% interest in the Toura nickel-cobalt license application to Firering Strategic Minerals.

Altus will received a Gross Revenue Royalty of up to 1.0% on future nickel and cobalt sales from the Project and a one off €15k payment.

The Project comprises an application for a nickel cobalt mineral prospective license over 168km2 in western Cote d’Ivoire.

The license is located close to several known deposits, including the Sipilou, Foungouesso and Moyango projects (located 0-35 km north-west of Toura) owned by Nickel de l’Ouest Côte d’Ivoire and the Samapleu and Grata projects (located 35 km west of Toura) owned by Sama Resources.

Conclusion: The deal secures the royalty over early exploration stage project in Cote d’Ivoire adding potential nickel/cobalt exposure to the portfolio of existing royalties mostly focused on gold and copper.
