Lord Buffett indeed. Most recently they've stated the P11 soil sampling has identified two new pegmatite zones, in addition to the main strike. They were well advanced on this soil sampling collection back in January (approx 40% complete) with analysis to follow. All we've learned since then is that they've decided to take the option to max out their stake in the project to 90% and, quote:

"This coupled with the success of our Phase I drilling campaign and start of the Phase II soil sampling programme announced at the beginning of this year, made our decision to increase our stake in the project to 90% an easy one. We look forward to updating shareholders on our progress."

Re. their previously announced P1 drill results:

Yuval Cohen, Chief Executive of Firering, said:

"These first assay results from our scout drilling at Atex show the first significant intercepts, including 64m, grading 1.24% Li(2) O. This is exceptional and amongst the best intercepts recently reported by our global peers and confirm the presence of lithium in our pegmatite system. We look forward to announcing the remaining assay results in the coming weeks, in particular the results for holes 18 and 19 for which we previously announced significant pegmatite intercepts with visible spodumene."

IF the soil sampling for P11 has been encouraging, I would not be surprised to learn that they are already into the P11 drilling as this company appears to get started and then RNS that fact, as apposed to stating they are about to do something.

It remains speculative but if intercepts and assays are strong there is the potential for a rerate and a whole new trading range. The good thing is we are sitting on a very modest valuation at present so very little potential appears to be priced in.

Just my observations and my opinion so ADYOR and NAI etc.

They've already identified a lot of lithium in 'Spodumene Hill' and the surrounding areas, notably with a 64m thick zone, and with grades up to 4.91%, stating that their drill result was one of the best in the world amongst their global peers - so I personally reckon they're already well on their way to being worth 100 million. Just my opinion, DYOR etc.

We agree and have built an initial, modest interest here since around the beginning of April.

It is of course speculative as you rightly point out, altom.

The price responds swiftly to any sustained buying so the acquisition of volume is best done incrementally and on quieter days. With a mkt cap of just £7.5M, it's a stock with the potential to significantly rerate as a resource is potentially proven up.

We are conducting a complete overhaul / review of FRG tomorrow ahead of the coming days and weeks during which the company is likely to provide further guidance on the PII ops.

For the moment, here is a glance at the shareholding structure (as 22 March '23):

Just 89.1M shares in issue.
The percentage not in public hands = 41% (= 36.5M shares).

It's hard to say how many remaining in free float are being bought and 'bottom-drawered' (ie taken out of circulation for the meantime.....but limits here are slammed shut on any sustained support).

Clearly a lot of work has to be done, but reviewing the pace of progress since the listing, one gets the feeling they are competent and keen to move quickly (work on the ground matching their communication to the mkt).

Judging by their own timelines the second half of 2023 appears to the period where key announcements *could* transform mkt perception.

NAI and ADYOR etc.

Mkt. Cap.£7.5mill. Almost unbelievably small. In a years time this will either be wound up as just a lots of expensive holes in the ground or at least a 10bagger. Any reasonable amount of proven lithium must be worth £100mill.

An update should certainly be with us before too long and soil sampling results will inform the next drilling round. The company appears to have made rapid progress since their IPO a little over a year ago and in each update have shown that they are on top of the job in hand and advancing as swiftly as set out in the IPO documents. The remainder of 2023 will be a defining period of news flow and where a major resource could either be proven up, or otherwise. ADYOR etc

I don't think we'll have to wait too long now before Firering announce their Phase II assay results, as the sampling would have been pretty much completed by the end of January.

Interestingly, they could hardly contain their excitement when the CEO said "Particularly encouraging are the two new pegmatite zones found and mapped during the soil sampling exercise. Based on the current progress, we believe that our soil sampling programme will be completed ahead of time. I am looking forward to receiving the results and updating the market in due course." - and that was only 9 days after starting the sampling process.

Spodumene Hill, yes that's its name on the map, could turn out to be Spodumene Mountain just below the surface, as I suspect the multiple pegmatite zones they've found/mapped at the surface may be part of one much larger structure beneath. All IMO, DYOR etc.

Possibly, Farrugia.

We're building / built a modest position here...although it is has been extremely hard to get volume on anything other than 'red days'.

The shareholding structure reveals why.

A small number of shares in total issue, approx 50% of which appear to be tightly held; there is very little to go at.

The company upping its stake in Atex during a period of relative silence since the beginning of the P11 campaign is interesting.

There is of course very considerable upside between where the companies shares currently trade (cap at the time of writing c.£7.5M) and the firming up of the resource. Until we have the figures from the next round of drilling it will of course remain speculative.

ADYOR etc and AIMO.

Chairman, it looks like your coiled spring is starting to spring!

Regarding the recent RNS about Firering upping their stake in Atex to 90%, the timing of that decision/action is interesting as they would almost certainly have collected all the planned Phase II soil samples and, visibly at least, had an idea what the assays (yet to be announced) might contain.

I'm only guessing of course, but if you look at the minerals (spodumene and coltan) that are pretty much lying around at or near the surface it all looks very exciting to me.

Firering has got to be about the most undervalued share I've ever seen in about 40 years of investing.

I could almost write a book about their prospects and likely size and value of their resources, but that's for the company to lay out in due course.

However, one simple fact is that their partner in the Atex project (representing about one tenth of Firering's overall exploration acreage) is funding the project to the tune of $18.6m/£15m in return for up to 50% farm-in of Atex.

By a simple calculation, Ricca is valuing Atex ALONE at four times firering's current market cap of £7.48m.

Furthermore, Firering currently own a 51% interest in an adjacent licence to Atex, which is twice the size of Atex, and have the option to increase their interest in that highly-prospective licence to 80% for very little money - about £550k, I believe.

Because 'Lithium' is not in the company name, very few people even know about Firering, so they're being completely overlooked at the moment.

But it's not just about the potentially vast amounts of lithium Firering are sitting on, they also have a very high-grade Coltan resource, ie tantalum and niobium, which is not only valuable but classified as 'conflict-free', unlike that from the DRC.

Why is FRG priced as a dud?
Is it because they released all of the initial lithium assays (including the duds)...instead of just the 4 holes with excellent results? (like most AIM companies do)?

But let's look at some positives...which I think will shortly attract some interest...how long it lasts in this fickle AIM market...who knows?

Guess that will depend on more results from this early stage exploration gem.(but two new potential discoveries in the offing...soil sample results due and to confirm?)

You can buy in cheaper by 40% or more than at IPO a year and a half ago.

Our director Neil Herbert also (deputy chair of RICCA Resources and chair of Atlantic Lithium ALL ) has endorsed our lithium project and put RICCA's money in to "fast track" fund us to DFS...so no need for equity fund raises for exploration, MRE, Scoping, PFS, DFS etc.
(Neil knows our potential!)

and when I read our notes on the Coltan-Tantalum-Niobium assets also:-

"Firering intends to advance development at Atex with a view to establishing a maiden Lithium resource and a pilot scale production of ethical tantalum and niobium production within 18 months to generate early revenues and support further exploration work. A large-scale tantalum production facility will be developed following pilot results, which will be supported by a debt facility of FCFA 5,057,000,000 (approximately €7,500,000) currently under negotiation to fund the entire scale-up plan to develop a portfolio of ethically sourced mineral projects in the Côte d'Ivoire, supplying EV batteries, high tech electronics and other fast-growing end markets................"

Apart from the 135 km square area of ATEX (mention of gold being added?) FRG has a further 1,400km square of exploration license pending!

You could do a lot worse than buy into this £7m market cap IMO.....but you must DYOR......!

Firering Strategic Minerals plc

Atex Lithium Tantalum Project Acquisition:

Firering Increases Stake in Atex Lithium Project to 90%

Yuval Cohen, Chief Executive of Firering, said:

"The Atex project has the potential to become a significant lithium resource in West Africa in a relatively short period of time. The quality and potential of Atex was recognised by Ricca who is earning into the project and supporting us in fast tracking the project to Definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS"). This coupled with the success of our Phase I drilling campaign and start of the Phase II soil sampling programme announced at the beginning of this year, made our decision to increase our stake in the project to 90% an easy one. We look forward to updating shareholders on our progress."
