Anybody tried this NEW Fins platform ??

New software always has bugs....

Feedback will be interesting.

Besides that problem. How does the new platform work and how do Fins get in touch when they ask you to migrate?

I`v`e just left Fins for this bunch.... 4 trades so far and 4 requotes and dealers response not printable..

There doesn`t seem a great deal of difference between these and fins.... both quote what and when they want and their ultimate aim is to extract one`s money by whatever means/tactics they can

I find their literature so very appealing... i guess that`s what marketings all about yet in reality the trading doesn`t resemble what they promote....they (both companies) are out to make as much as possible by whatever means at their disposal....

I would like to know what else to expect from this company....

Please post any experience with FINS and their trading academy. I am weighing up the pros and cons of opening a spreadbet account with them or one of the more well known providers.

Thanks in advance

It looks good , 60 second timer is a good inovation, prices update real time ..its the bee's knees isnt it.
Problem is - its never working , when it does work it takes ages to get a simple £20-pp quote , it is quite possible to make a trade with their competitors , then close the trade with their competitors whilst you are still waiting for the original fins quote!
The watch list is nice and easy to set up , i know because i have had loads of practice - one minute its there and the next it is gone again.
Minimise the site , come back to it a little while later and its 'phone trading only' , click on futures , back to your watch list and the trade windows are open again.
Then theres the prices , how they are arrived at i have no idea , irrespective of volume available , you never quite know what you are going to be quoted , spread seems to fluctuate from 1p to 10p on a 2 quid share, sometimes more if you have an open position.
Sort it out Fins eh?
The best customer service in the business is no good if the website is sh*te, and if its really the new site thats causing the problems why not bin it and revert to the old one till its sorted?
Any other views?
