Hi guys I’m a new investor at long last after looking at Filtronic on and off over the years - seems to have been a difficult journey. I like the industry, I like the technology, and what has swung it for me - I like the mamagement. Richard Gibbs was a contemporary of mine at Honeywell - a brilliant company in industrial, domestic, space/aviation sensing & control - which over decades has produced excellent business managers. I rate Richard and expect him, with his connections, to do good things with Filtronic. I will be adding when I can.

Agree about the contract news, the Space sector is really hot at the moment and it would be a wake up call for investors if something was announced in this area.......

We need to get news of useful new business wins. At that point illiquidity will be great!

Have wondered if Spirent would ever look at FTC as an acquisition. I know not exactly same markets, just a thought.

Still hold a few but there isn't any reason to add...its been range bound for years...no dividend or chance of one. Better off investing elsewhere to get a return. It needs a catalyst.

Bored? Yes most certainly but I occasionally go back and read the last report or two.

The trades yesterday were pretty small individually and not worth a great deal in total, circa £35 to £40k in total. Despite the discomfort and boredom, I’m happy to hold and hopefully see the growth that the company plan materialise.

Agree though, so very frustrating!

Totally agree with slice the pie This share is like watching paint dry has been so boring for the last year have yet to see the ceo putting his stamp on the company This stock is in all the hot spots however they fail to get that message across

Looks like another investor got board, perhaps we should suggest holding ftc as a cure for insomnia. Management do need to start promoting the company otherwise we will be on the receiving end of a cheeky bid that bored shareholders may accept

Been selling a few chunks not because I want to but need to and will buy back in a couple of weeks. Still have a decent holding
