The history of this company is precisely of being “one and done” over several distinct cycles of boom and bust. Those of us invested now have to believe that “this time is different”; so far so good but we have to remain vigilant. On the latter - I don’t think Space X need to take over FTC given the warrant situation - they have more control over FTC than most customers have over the suppliers. In fact, with my “where is the downside?” hat on, I would be asking myself, what is the record of Space X/ Musk changing suppliers as it suits them…? |
At what point do SpaceX consider taking FTC? It doesn't sound like there are any clear competitors? Is anyone able to shed some light on the competitive landscape? |
Can only help. The idea that FTC is a "one and done" business (exponential growth suddenly stopping as nobody needs more) seems absurd. We are just starting. And I reckon the defence applications are growing very quickly too, but have to remain confidential |

FY 25 ends on 31 May 25 and FTC have already announced that the results should be ahead of current market expectations, in addition to the first half being ahead too - that was up to last 30 Nov 24. It is the first-half that will be reported next Tuesday.
What I believe we need to see is confirmation that fy 26 will also maintain growth going forwards. On the 31st October 24, the RNS mentioned that the company was in contract discussions and hoped to update the market in due course (not the exact wording...!!).
