The discussions among investors regarding Filtronic Plc (FTC) have been notably buoyant following the company's impressive interim results, which showcased a significant tripling of revenue and profits attributed to strong orders from SpaceX. Investor sentiment appears largely optimistic, with many expressing confidence in the company's growth trajectory. One participant highlighted that "Filtronic told investors there is still further growth potential," reflecting a widespread belief in the company’s ability to capitalize on its existing partnerships while branching into new markets.
Despite the positive results, some investors noted a pullback in FTC’s stock price, potentially exacerbated by broader market trends. Comments such as "We believe that our forecast for a slower revenue rate in FY26 is now well understood by the market," indicate a recognition that certain future revenue expectations may already be priced in. Nonetheless, there are calls for potential upward revisions, with one investor mentioning, "Expect upgrades," reinforcing the confidence in FTC's long-term outlook. Ultimately, while immediate market reactions have been mixed, the overall sentiment remains bullish, fueled by optimism about upcoming growth opportunities and collaborations.

"Consequently, we anticipate H1 to be stronger than H2, as the retrofit completes, and we revert back to supporting the extension of the network." |
I think H1 being stronger than H2 may have concerned some, but really it all looks very positive. As ever, contract news will drive the next leap in price. |
I follow them all including RKLB and many others. I think Trump takes POTUS and that squashes all Space competitors for a few years. |

With Musk as a client it gives credibility to Filtronics products, which would give confidence to other clients... |
volsung, LOL. Negative comments can be viewed that way but I'm not here for that. I'm here to make money so discussion is essential. |
Musk has applied for another 30000 for next generation of starlink. |
I don't think Musk goes in for second best. That last rocket of his speaks volumes. His people met Filtronic's and were satisfied. So am I. |
Musk is a big client, but not the only one. Ultimately, it's about whether the number of flying objects processing huge amounts of data is likely to increase or decrease over the next few years, and whether FTC can maintain its global leadership position in its niche. If it does, it is a multi billion business. |
As a troll? |
If Musk wasn't on the scene, would this company be in the news? With his finacial clout he could buy the company for lunch money. |
