AGM with presentation 8 May in Carlisle. Oh, I'm sorry, I meant London (yawn, do they ever take place anywhere else?), but it will be live streamed, if you do live in Carlisle (or anywhere else)

Seems like if a Euro trust has Novo Nordisk as one of its major shareholdings, it had a good year

According to the vice minister, the mining exploitation contract will be signed in six months.

That’s direct from equador newspaper today.

You will need patience, 6 months for signing.

Half-year report - good performance but a bit of a sobering outlook -

Not great timing of yesterday's purchase :-(

Bought last year luckily, been my best Trust by far. Thought portfolio was similar to one Terry Smith would construct, but with a yield as well. I am tempted to add.

Also recommended by Ian Cowie in Sunday Times 30th Apr. He's just bought in at £3.53, apparently. Likely to be following his lead, shame it wasn't 6 months ago - Ahhh Hindsight - a magical property !!

Would appear to be lousy management of assets. Also bear in mind the v poor risk adjusted performance, see Trustnet. What is surprizing, is that it is not on on a wider discount, given the performance of the peer group.

However I am interested in this fund, because the v large companies are the sort of companies, are the sort of companies that could start buying back stock.

Trading at 16% below NAV yet the majority of its holdings are large leading European companies.
The discount to NAV appears to have been gradually increasing for the last five years, according to Trustnet .

Does anyone know why please?
