So Fidelity put more than £230m of the £460 placing proceeds, per the holdings RNS. In that context, the £230m of external funds raised is pretty paltry at less than a quarter of the £1bn target they set!

Fidelity China Special Situations PLC announces that on 19 April 2010, the Company entered into a Revolving Facility Agreement of HK$775,000,000 with JP Morgan Chase Bank. Im thinking this share price will stay put for weeks, months even, as surely (dont call me Shirley) share price will only move once IPO cash is invested in Co's that are making profits/returns in the future? would A.B's team give statements every quarter etc?

I suspect it is far from fully invested. They need to get permission to make some specific type of investment which they want to pursue in China, but I suppose they have started to make purchases within the HK exchange.

As far as I can see from the prospectus, they will not indulge in currency hedging, and that although values will be quoted in sterling, their dividend incomes will be in renminbi.

Apologies I haven't seen the prospectus for this.

Is the £460m fully invested? Or is Bolton simply getting the ball rolling now?
