23/1/2019 18:36 | Again it does not add up. If Old Mutual were below 3% as annual report suggests at end of the year then where is all this volume coming from. Who is buying and who is selling. I see the other mm's wasted no time in screwing over some of the pi's that decided to sell late on. 20k sold for 21p when 22p bid. Bit desperate but in this market I see it everywhere. | dave4545
23/1/2019 18:15 | 500k at 23p.. late reported..inflexion point | tsmith2
23/1/2019 16:54 | Where is naked investor by the way | ultimatewarrior
23/1/2019 16:44 | Blackzed no offence but when your account has only be set up a few days ago and you have only posted on ffi - your posts like naked investors are going to attract scepticism Try posting on other boards | ultimatewarrior
23/1/2019 16:26 | Not that anybody cares, but I am amazed at the short termism of the fellow investors/speculator well mine is very simple: buy nibbles of stocks as much as my portfolio allocation allows and sit tight for a year or two while keeping an eye out on the trading updates and half year, full year reports to see the acquisitions are getting bedded in smoothly, sga is getting reduced and it's business as usual. My target price is at least around 3x from now that is 66p.. If business goes normal, net profit for FY2019 will be around 8-9mm which says the stock is currently trading at <6 PE. On EV/EBIT basis, this can look like an invitation to a private equity firm or a reasonable buyer. What I worry about are the tail-risk events which can eat up the EBIT and captive insurer: completion contract fiasco, insurance risks etc. I wish they disclose more details about their insurance business and commisioning structure as an MGA for allianz in US/CANADA given it is becoming a significant part of the revenue mix and if/how much of insurance excess of their own is on the line on those business and as an underwriter for Allianz.. will be glad if anyone can throw some light on these points.. | blackzed
23/1/2019 16:01 | That should say 21.5p rather | ultimatewarrior
23/1/2019 16:00 | Some nervous nellies selling today... Just hold - This will come good easily from these levels.Overhang will be gone very soon now imo. | tallprawn
23/1/2019 15:58 | Looking at l2 suggests a move in the short term to 22.5 | ultimatewarrior
23/1/2019 14:47 | The evidence suggests an rns from old mutual is due we haven't had one yet | ultimatewarrior
23/1/2019 14:42 | It's frustrating but my advice would be just don't look for a few days, as long as you have an appropriate position you should be ok. It will come good, i think. | fozzie
23/1/2019 14:33 | Email David sasso about your concerns regarding holdings info on their website being incorrectThey can't take action if they don't know there's a problem | ultimatewarrior
23/1/2019 14:22 | 1500 NMS has just been took out on the bid. Now 22.1-22.69p I'm sure it will come good as well but this has to go down as extremely frustrating for a few reason. One the price not budging. 2 the company saying nothing and 3 the major shareholders not updating the company or the company not updating the market to say some have bought or sold here. | dave4545
23/1/2019 14:19 | My average is now 25.2 just need some patience, it will work itself out. Easy for me to say because i only have a small position here. Decent company, well respected in their sector. | fozzie
23/1/2019 14:15 | All change today. This overhang is showing no signs of clearing. With hundreds of pi's buying at 23p in the last 2 weeks a few of them today have given up and sold for a small loss. There is no quote to sell online now and the 22.7p is now the online offer. Simply incredible we cannot get some clarification from the company on what is going on with the recent volumes. | dave4545
23/1/2019 13:09 | Are the few sellers actually today or from days ago - as lse isn't showing them | ultimatewarrior
22/1/2019 17:58 | I'm getting bored of this. Large buys at full offer delayed from previous day show up and then every day we have small pi buying which tots up to 500k-1 mil every day on top. No movement and no holding announcements either way buying or selling. | dave4545
22/1/2019 17:28 | a mere 660k? | tsmith2
22/1/2019 16:51 | Let's see what we get late on today.. | tsmith2
22/1/2019 15:30 | 25k max again. Up and down like a yo yo but this is the lowest today so far | dave4545
22/1/2019 14:46 | True. Last time he bought in it went from 31p to 40p+ but there was a lot more than him tipping it but lets see in this market if he has the power to finally shift the 23p. | dave4545
22/1/2019 14:39 | It can't last forever Dave - with ghf back in his followers will jump inHe only tweeted 40 mins ago | ultimatewarrior
22/1/2019 14:35 | 22.7-23p Still size offered, just does not add up if only OM selling | dave4545
22/1/2019 14:26 | Glasshalffull has returned to ffi | ultimatewarrior
21/1/2019 21:56 | I feel more positive knowing it's Old Mutual and just a fund taking a hit. If it's just them the numbers cannot be far off zero. Perhaps the other mm's sense that too hence they moved up close to the offer price. | dave4545
21/1/2019 21:30 | Could've Dave but was out at dinner and couldn't remember ;0) | pireric |
