07/11/2006 13:35 | Up..........And Nice BIG BUYS................ | bugs bunny
07/11/2006 11:56 | Well we haven't long to wait now......These results won't show a profit but the full results WILL. | bugs bunny
07/11/2006 10:46 | i have to say that i agree with the zeppelin. there is absolutely no way this company is going to show profits of anywhere near the levels above, if indeed it even manages a profit - which i would doubt. re the lme, trading glitches meant that the electronic platform went down yesterday - a nice auspicious start. as for the times and shares mag having profit projetions going forward - old numbers, or misprints, whatever, don't ecpect that the times or any other publication have the wherewithal to correct numbers on their own volition. as for kbc producing these numbers - weren't they the shop that bought the company to market? vested interest indeed. | bg23
06/11/2006 17:24 | please remember going forward that FFastfill are not competing with GL, Pats, RTS etc, they do not sell front end trading systems anymore. they sell a managed service that if required can also provide a trading platform, risk management plaform and DMA. the platform is more likely to be TT's due to the recent lawsuit settlement. there are no sales people there anymore selling front end applications, they are selling a managed service solution. | cheque
06/11/2006 11:44 | I think Groin has got that from KBC's viewpoint and also the fact that the Times has got FFA down as a P/E of 2.9 going forward. KBC of course are the house broker so have a vested interest in painting a positive picture but the Times have no axe to grind surely and therefore until we hear otherwise I think we must assume that the figures Groin posted are what is to be expected. I do recall reading the Shares Mag as saying that the £1m profit is subject to a margin of error of 10%, so they are saying the company will post EBITA profits of £900k to £1.1m for the end of this financial year. they also gave the same figures Groin posted for the years going forward. I wouldn't say that the LME are exactly a minnow in the world of exchanges either. Have a look at the value of daily business on their site and it reads pretty damm big, if you are talking about the LME mini contracts then you are right but these aren't going live until the 20th so we can't gauge how much they will be worth anyway. | bugs bunny
05/11/2006 20:29 | This company is not going to make £1m profits this year and I'm afraid that you are living in a fantasy land if you think they are. If they manage to break-even then it will be a miracle. Also, as I believe I may have pointed out before, the LME are an absolute minnow in the exchange world. With Pats, GL and RTS also conformed then FFA will probably get about as much action out of this market as they do of the others (i.e. not very much). I would be very surprised if the management team aren't trying to line up some form of sale of the company or yet another round of fund raising. | zeppelin75

Seemed a good idea at the time........then the landlords dogs came out and they thought they look nice......you can guess what happened next.....but it entertained us for a good 20 mins.........Alot more than FFA have done for the last few weeks. | bugs bunny

25/10/2006 10:58 | I think you are going to be right in thinking we are going to see a drop today Groin. All very sad. | bugs bunny
25/10/2006 09:48 | Well they haven't opened down so there's no dawn drop today. I know they must be in their closed period leading up to results but I am not confident with the fact that there hasn't been any business announcements for a long time, apart from a Director leaving that is. Looking back at this time last year, it was then that we were "riding high" at over 6p+. Oh course then it was blown apart as they announced further losses and the rest is history. Cheque, like you I wouldn't mind cutting my losses and running at 6p, so if there is anyone out there, Doctor Who fans, mental cases or just plan madmen who want to releive me of this dud holding, please let me know. | bugs bunny
25/10/2006 08:37 | What will today's drop come in at? | groin
24/10/2006 13:56 | yeh,, what a pile of poop this is ! | rcktmn
24/10/2006 13:41 | I agree with you, it doesn't bode well for the results. I think we will have either missed targets or there is going to the old "buts" in full view. Dumping, and I mean dumping, on this scale so near the results must be coming from near the action and we will only find out how bad things really are when they enlighten us next month. Oh well, I was hoping we would be above 6p and have something the crow about but it looks like the gallows are beckoning yet again. Whats the betting that we slide or plummet to below 2p in 4 weeks from now? Thak goodness for Severn Trent thats all I can say, every penny squandered on holding FFA has been recouped by the old plodder coming good. Can't imagine the new big holder is too impressed! | groin |
