There's a lot of inconsistencies with these recent releases when compared to previous ones. I can't see how Covid can be used as an excuse anymore. I understand the war in Ukraine impacting the business, but again previous announcements stated they are looking for alternative supplies outside of Russia which won't impact the business. NB is starting to lose credibility.

Well at least we know VB are standing by the company, so that answers that question. But the narrative is quite clear some of the supply chain issues are not yet resolved, so it’s hard to make any sense as to when the company will generate cash flow.

President Tokayev seems to be trying to liberalise the political and economic situation in Kaz, which has to be good for business if he succeeds. As you say, the big question is whether Putin will see a more liberal and democratic government, as with Ukraine, as a direct threat to his power.I also expect that VBR will probably renegotiate their planned 75p investment tranche down to say 40p, given the share price progress in recent months. But it will make little difference to shareholders in the scheme of things, assuming the project does go ahead. I'd much rather they renegotiated than walked away, let's put it that way!Remember, the ultra-cheap vanadium is still there in the ground!NAI etc

Hi JB. You may or may not be right. Personally I doubt it, the share price fall could very easily be selling by much smaller shareholders given the liquidity. My bigger concern is that VB renegotiate their original financing deal.

Have to hope and think Putin’s sphere of influence is diminishing in recent days, so even if Ukraine still has to suffer from his wickedness, Russia’s other neighbours are less at risk.

Watching closely again though.

Unless someone can prove what their shareholding should be and what it currently is

I think the main points of interest will be 1) Drilling progress 2) By Product market development 3) Profitability: Impact of energy costs, value of current stock (including Nickel), this was valued near to £2 million in the last update, vanadium price has dropped back 40% from its high in March, tonnage output (is the capital investment now resulting in significant increases in output), currency impact.

Ensuring the pilot plant is profitable will be a huge step forward to fund phase 1 but also if the drilling etc is put back even further, the profitability will mean no more share dilution outside of VB's current agreement as it will be self-funded. This is a real test for the current management to deliver on their promise of profitability and ultimately gain good loan terms from the Kazakhstan bank

I'm not sure the financial side is that relevant (assuming they still have enough cash to progress... perhaps VBR will make their final investment to top up the coffers?). For me the key thing is maintaining progress on drilling, BFS and financing. The BFS was unfortunately substantially delayed, they need to show that they're still making progress towards the new date.

Yeah a bit of time to wait but willing to wait 10 years for that kind of return! September results will be interesting reading, I'm expecting a small loss for the period, which I think is baked into the price, anything better than this then I reckon the price will re-rate

Well done guys. Vanadium stocks well oversold including BMN and Largo. Long way to go for all three to get back to fair value.

Who would have though this would be 12p again .. not even I expected to see this low to be honest .But if you think how the timescales have slipped or prolonged It should not be surprise really Vanadium has also fallen with other commodities Come back next year here I wait for progress .

I have reduced all my holdings this week Staying out due to high inflation risks , higher rates , market sentiment has clearly changed to the downside Another 10% correction in the USA is needed for me to think about buying again Short term bounces are just being sold into . It has been like that since March April Dub 10p is possible here and can see falls in other stocks I hold too

I'm staying out until the next quarterly results are released. I'm needing to see profitability in current operations. Any thoughts on the expected outcome for FAR if 2022 is still loss making?

But it is more that I understand how miners work who are still in early stage studies Takes years and a lot of cash to reach and achieve production status the by product whether Rarexearths or carbon are a side show in an attempt to feed the market something positive during the lull of drilling holes for the study Pilot plant is a side show but essential to retain skilled staff for the bigger asset

CyberYou are right about the half glass empty :-)But from 11p to 40p and back down to 13p... it has served me well for this Company at least

*Any* net profit from any of the byproducts will reduce the net production cost of the Vanadium (which is already expected to be only $2.50). So while you might be right to take things with a 'pinch of salt' (you're always a glass half empty type JB ;-) ), I am not worried about the excellent economic case here!

It is laughable because Molb was talked up , now carbon is . Let's use a wait and see approach Company's concentrate will be a non-standard product it is difficult to forecast what discount to the N550 carbon black price might result from commercial negotiations, what level of offtake might be obtained and what transport costs might be incurred.Do not trust the CEO
