01/10/2020 13:04 | But what if your choice as was listed originally is down, on the week, come tomorrow evening? Pp. | piperpeter
01/10/2020 13:00 | PP I was late I admit but as PPCs shares rarely go up I doubt anyone will care! | brasso3
01/10/2020 12:54 | Brasso? Isn't he the one who changed his entry in the share of the week competition to PPC, albeit that it was eight hours after the Sunday midnight cut-off point? Might have to call on the V.A.R. Pp. | piperpeter
01/10/2020 12:52 | I am trying to find more funds for EVG so wanted to keep it quiet! | brasso3
01/10/2020 12:42 | Talking of OT, have you had a look at EVG. Surprised Brasso hasn't mentioned it. | ged5
01/10/2020 12:30 | I'm glad you made money on MTPH after I mentioned it here. I'll try not to mention PPC too much in future. Unless circumstances dictate otherwise.... Keep it on your radar. PPC Pp. | piperpeter
01/10/2020 12:16 | This is the FDBK thread. I don't mind the occasional OT (thanks for MTPH) but please put your comments on the PPC thread. | ged5
01/10/2020 12:12 | Does your rule include assets in USA and Paraguay? Pp. | piperpeter
01/10/2020 12:07 | Good luck with PPC. Rule of mine:-Don't invest in any company with assets in Argentina, South Africa, Russia or Indonesia. I may miss out but losses in the past have made me very wary about each of those countries. We might have to wait for Bleepa to be a success but the wait might just be worth it. Hopefully exciting times ahead. | ged5
01/10/2020 11:20 | It'll be interesting to see what the ongoing and substantive negotiations with a yet unknown National Oil Company, re a farm-in to the Company's Paraguay assets, will turn up. I suppose we'll get to know soon enough. PPC, surely not one to overlook? Pp. | piperpeter
01/10/2020 10:53 | Interesting to read a mention of PPC here. President Energy's bulletin board activity is remarkably quiet, considering the amount of operational activity currently ongoing. Pp. | piperpeter
30/9/2020 20:59 | chopper harris1 Oh yes I remember him well, along with a Mr. Smith and a Mr. Hunter ;-) I can't watch those old games - don't understand why half the teams weren't taken off on stretchers. | yump
30/9/2020 20:57 | I'm not sure they're either astute or greedy, but I do think they actually care about the business and are not one of the groups of people that go around the market with a view to just making a killing out of options or warrants or a trade sale. They don't do 'the talk' enough for that. | yump
30/9/2020 19:53 | Robo, that is your decision. The Jury is still out on fdbk. They have been serial disappointers. If you believe the new team are astute businessmen and therefore they are hiring a number of new staff because they are going to need them, then, it would seem that the share price is currently cheap. If, however, you think they are hiring in the hope of new business and FDBK is being run by “spivs in white coats” trying to eek out a lifestyle through AIM, then run for the hills! | ducatiman
30/9/2020 18:46 | Would be surprised if you don't get a significant uptick in price here before the New Year, Robo. Continuous news flow expected. Sensible waiting to see if house prices fall. With the economy in a dreadful state I'd expect a consequential drop in property values. | lr2
30/9/2020 18:34 | Should I buy a few more Duc? | robo63
30/9/2020 17:26 | FWIW, I think we will be getting a number of good RNS in the coming weeks/months. | ducatiman
30/9/2020 16:42 | Yes, that's the one, Brasso. Thanks again, LR2. Will call them tomorrow. | chopper harris1
30/9/2020 16:31 | Chopper Was it MYN (Mayan Energy)? One of Piperpeters many ramps! | brasso3
30/9/2020 16:22 | Hope you get it sorted out soon Chopper. If you do get them to cancel the trade, it looks as though you might get a few more than you originally bought if you buy again at current price. I'm definitely optimistic. You don't raise £5 mil plus and start advertising for staff directly related to Bleepa sales if you haven't got huge expectations of a lot of new business flowing your way. Way better than having you money in PPC. | lr2
30/9/2020 16:05 | Thanks, LR2. I use First Direct, who are normally pretty good. Had a little problem with them two or three years back when I tried to have a quick punt on a small oiler that Piperpeter was pumping on the PPC thread. Can't remember the name of the stock but First Direct wouldn't deal in it. I missed out on several hundred quid on that occasion had I been allowed to make the trade. When I subsequently complained they did pay me £100 compensation. Today's letter came as a bit of a surprise, especially as it's over two weeks since "buying" them. But hopefully it will all work out for the best in the end. Nice to hear that you're optimistic. And thanks also, Pete. | chopper harris1
30/9/2020 15:50 | One would normally expect this situation when there is a serious shortage of stock and brokers are scrambling to find stock but this does not appear the case here yet. Your broker could buy the 200k today at 1.10p and still make a profit on your trade. | petekand
30/9/2020 15:46 | Jeez Chopper, that is absurd for 200k of shares. Tell the dealer to cancel the trade, refund the money and then grab 220k of shares at 1.10p today. Better be quick though as news could arrive any day now... and I expect it to be good. BTW, who the hell do you use for share dealing? | lr2
30/9/2020 15:19 | I had a 200k top-up at 1.20p on 14th September. Everything appeared to proceed as normal and funds were taken from my account as expected. My account has been showing the updated number of FDBK shares since the 14th. But I've just received a letter from my broker, dated yesterday (29th), which advises me that: "On this occasion we have been unable to source stock for the above trade. Please be assured that we are seeking to obtain this stock and will inform you once this has been completed". Never experienced anything like this before. Anyone have an explanation? Thanks. | chopper harris1 |
