Thanks again LR2. I've not seen TexRAD linked to high blood pressure either. I haven't seen such an acknowledgement before.

"CT texture was analyzed using commercial software (TexRAD; TexRAD Ltd., part of Feedback Plc., Cambridge, UK)."

Am I reading too much into this if I think it's moving towards a sale?

I read your post LR2 but is it possible Mike Hayball and Antoine Saillant will put their talents towards adapting Cadran?

A very good point was raised by Davydoo in a previous post when he stated Ganeshan wasn't a director.

It's true that he's not a director of Feedback plc. He resigned on 14th April 2018.

However he was appointed director of Feedback Medical on 13th April 2018.

So should there be an announcement if he's left?

Aldosterone anybody? No, me neither. Never heard of it. Japanese researchers have though.

Aldosterone is a hormone produced in the outer section (cortex) of the adrenal glands, which sit above the kidneys. ... Aldosterone also causes water to be reabsorbed along with sodium; this increases blood volume and therefore blood pressure.

Application of CT texture analysis to assess the localization of primary aldosteronism

"Primary aldosteronism (PA) is a disorder in which aldosteronesynthesis is disproportionately high given the sodium status, relatively autonomous of the major regulators of secretion loading1. PA is recognized as the most frequent cause of secondary hypertension2,3, and has been reported to account for >5%, and possibly >10%, of hypertension cases in both unselected and referred hypertensive patients4,5,6."

"CT texture was analyzed using commercial software (TexRAD; TexRAD Ltd., part of Feedback Plc., Cambridge, UK). The images were evaluated by a single radiologist with 24 years of experience who was blinded to the clinical outcome. The region of interest (ROI) for each adrenal gland was drawn automatically by the software after the observer set a seed on the adrenal gland. If the automatically drawn ROI included adjacent organs or structures, the observer manually amended the ROI to exclude such organs and structures. For each adrenal gland, three consecutive CT slices, including the maximum cross-section of the adrenal gland, were selected for the analysis. Unless the CT slice with the maximum cross-section of the adrenal gland was at the top or bottom of the CT slices including the adrenal gland, the CT slice with the maximum cross-section of the adrenal gland was selected as the center of the three slices."

So, TexRAD involved in the testing of high aldosterone levels which can lead to high blood pressure.

Not seen TexRAD used to test for high blood pressure before.

Thanks LR2. He looks very tired during most of the interview but perks up when talking about Bleepa. Although very early, it's reducing patient referral time by more than 50% and 60% of cases seem to be able to be dealt with entirely by Bleepa.

Very promising!

Tom Oakley interview.

Feedback (LON:FDBK) specialises in medical imaging technology, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans and X-Rays.

CEO Tom Oakley is a radiologist and understands the niche gaps in the medical imaging market and here he tells Proactive London how he's building a new revenue stream on the back of software already developed.

Oakley explains how his company is rolling out the new fluoroscopy technique, which is basically a x-ray movie, across 200 sites in the US and how it doesn't mean expensive new kit for users.

Updates here too on Feedback's flagship Bleepa product, the encrypted medical messaging app used on smartphones, tablets and desktops, allowing clinicians to communicate with other team members securely.

Demonboy, don't confuse due with seen.

I feel very sad hearing some news today but let not emotion have a bearing on our investment strategy. We are all here to make our money grow. Long term investing, short term trading, even short trading (which to my cost I've never done)but to hear of someone to be let down because of ethical trading actually makes me very sad.

Some who visit this thread won't have a clue what I'm on about but just letting this board aware of a very special person having to relinquish his association with this company because he believes for ethical reasons.

I am indebted to him for picking me up earlier this year when I most needed it. Soppy, sentimental maybe but I felt the need to say something public.

I believe the company is going in the right direction and announcements will be very soon.

Yes, those seem nailed on. Not sure about IQAI though! Anyway they want to sell “stonechecker”, therein lies another predicament. I am not sure that all the T’s have been crossed or I’s Dotted on some of these “Texrad” agreements. Which is why I would welcome a full and understandable update from the company ASAP.

No. In fact I had to look that up.

"A little learning is a dang'rous thing;
Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring:
There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
And drinking largely sobers us again."

I used to work in IT. Managed many a project and oversaw numerous IT installations around Europe, USA, and Far East. I suspect I know precisely what Alec Pickles has been doing these past few months.

Re post #4390 - he might be doing a bit of commuting but I doubt he needs to be in Oldham full time. He will likely now be dealing with problem resolution during this trial run.

He will be collating all reported problems (urgent), requested enhancements (might do them if they don't cost too much and/or have added value), nice to haves (can do providing there's a bit of a real need or minimal cost), wildest dreams (maybe do if the client pays for them) type information coming in from all trialing the Bleepa product.

Collating best done in a quiet, orderly fashion and will need input from Future Processing / Mike Hayball who will supply costs and timescales.

Up in Oldham for face to face contact. Back in Cambridge for reflection with project manager and IT staff.
