Does it matter if he is or isn't a qualified radiologist? He was working in that field so it would be easier for him to say "where I was" rather than training as.
In my working career I found that a lot of fellow workers who got promoted above me had the gift of the gab rather than the qualifications I possessed. Some went on to higher things but not all.
Maybe he is a better salesman than geek which would be more suitable for promoting our wares.

Well since you aren't prepared to converse, I expected an RNS this morning.

"CEO of Feedback plc resigns after accusation of deceit by bulletin board troll"

The RNS about his appointment states "A qualified clinical radiologist".

If it had said a fully qualified clinical radiologist I might have concerns.

He has passed the FRCR part 1

He's also worked as a radiology registrar

I'm not sure if these things make him a qualified registrar or not. The regulations seem a little unclear so my interpretation is that he may well be.

I did check at the time of his appointment and he seemed qualified enough to become CEO (if a little inexperienced). However I was impressed.

But now you're going to tell me this isn't true either:-

"Launching his first medical device whilst at medical school Dr Oakley has always been active in the healthcare innovation and enterprise space. He became an Academic Training Fellow in Oxford where he gained exposure to front line clinical practice, cutting edge clinical research and its application to patients. Dr Oakley subsequently worked as a Specialist Trainee in Clinical Radiology for 2 years. In 2016 he undertook an NHS England Clinical Eneterprise Fellowship focusing on growing a number of healthcare startups across the service and health technology spaces; he is also an editorial board member for the Innovation edition of the European Medical Journal."

He never was a Radiologist and should never have said so.

He was a Radiology Trainee - that passed a mickey mouse prelim part 1 exam after 3 months that was 30 mins duration (may be a bit longer) I am told. I am also told that he was laughed at when the Devon Radiologists heard that clip.

Lets hope he delivers for you boys.

You've not answered my earlier question.

Thanks phurley for your observations.

Were you doing research on Tom Oakley with a view to investing in Feedback and found that gem linked in post 441?

Well we long term holders also hope he delivers but enough of the other nonsense. Have a good night.

I do not think it contradicts it. He didnt complete the training yet he stated he was a radiologist. Again, I am saying I hope he delivers.

A link of the interview would be nice to back up your allegations. I note you previously said interviews as in more than one.
Also, how would you know he was told to complete his exams or move on to other ventures?
The RNS advising of his appointment and his own LinkedIn account seem to contradict what you allege.

Yes I too would like to know where he has claimed to be a fully qualified radiologist?
The RNS on his appointment is quite clear in that he is a qualified doctor with some experience in radiology. And that is the information i usually rely on.
This aside, I see the placing shares are still finding a good home with the offer stuck at and just below 1.2p.

Thanks Phurley. Where has he claimed to be a radiologist? He is a Doctor I assume? He has over 20m options here, so if he can get the share price to 10p, shouldn't be too difficult!, then he will be a multi millionaire on paper. How much do radiologists earn these days?

The radiologists I know have mocked that btw - they say who in their right mind would even put that they passed a one hour test that every single trainee would pass at the end of the first 3 months?

Part 1 of a 3 part professional exam. He claims to be a radiologist. You simply cannot do that if you are not one. Passing one exam does not make you a radiologist nor does it allow you to claim to be a specialist. It is, frankly, a lie. I have seen his interviews in which he claims to be one. A lie is a lie.

Just looked at his LinkedIn. It does say he only got his FRCR part 1 qualification.. not really sure he would be a better CEO if he was a fully qualified radiographer though?

The CEO claims to be a radiologist.

He never was and never will be a radiologist.

He completed 2 years as a Radiology trainee and was told to either concentrate on his Radiology training or his 'other ventures'.

He decided to leave. He only passed part 1 of the Radiology training exams - the easiest part of all that is pretty mickey mouse as told by my Radiology friends.
