Ok so you’ve got bleepa the app, but the hospital owning the data is a key selling point

So I don’t see how you use the app without something to connect into first

A second user, eg a second opinion being sought from another trust’s dr. Could use the app I assume.

But it starts with the first hospital allowing its data on the app I think

If it’s good hopefully it will be viral (excuse the pun) with that second opinion dr then wanting the same tool to seek their own second opinion back in future

Good question. Be good to hear from someone who knows.

When I spoke to my nephew about Bleepa he did mention about the trust making the decision of contracts. I don't know if that is the case for all hospitals.

Are you a red sonie?

Question:- If a clinician came to the show and said "I want", could he/she have? Or would his/her hospital have to get involved? Is the initial sale to the hospital and then doctors/clinicians can adopt or can the individual buy the product and then use the hospital system?

There had been mention of pre-orders at the Expo. I think we all realise that we would have heard from the company if there had been any and the share price would be on the march.

As in the tweet at the end of the Expo "Now the real work begins".

I'm sure all those on the Bleepa stand the past two days are absolutely shattered. I just expect them to recharge the batteries over the weekend and next week and beyond will be working tirelessly to follow up any leads obtained at the Expo and report back a number of contracts.

Totally agree Ducatiman we need numbers.

You could be right lal. The company have received millions of pounds from placings over the last couple of years. The market will want to see figures now.

'According to the new GDPR European data law, businesses can be fined up to 4% of annual turnover or €20 million should they fail to protect data properly.

And hospitals should be terrified.

Brighton Hospital was fined £325,000 in 2012 after a worker accidentally sold a hard drive on eBay which contained patient data.

If you think that’s bad, today every single smartphone-wielding surgeon is likely walking around with a pocket full of private medical data, potentially putting hospitals on a collision course for a data disaster'

Forbes last year.

when I read things like that it makes me feel more and more than Bleepa could be useful on many levels and in many instances.
If you haven't worked in the field it is impossible to comment but I get the feeling the more tools the better that doctors feel 'authorised ' to use as davy says in a legalised way.

I noticed in the last tweet the study was Fluoroscopy. There was an article on the Future Processing website about how CCI (precursor to Feedback Medical)and FP collaborated on the software for Fluoroscopy and is now used in the US.

That article has now gone and has been replaced by an article on TexRAD. Interesting they have TexRAD as the subject since FP and FDBK have earlier this year produced Bleepa.

Maybe the TexRAD update may come sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately the video with Mike Hayball hasn't been updated
