First Derivatives had mentioned they divested the majority of their stake in Quantile last year for 11 million. According to Companies House they held 6.25% of Quantile at time of purchase so they'll receive another GBP 17 million (about 2% of current market cap). They'll get 28 million total but would have received 55 million had they held on.

Nope I meant grant money in that NI exec was giving them a 'grant' for employing young people. Does the ROI do the same?

The news releases about graduate hires is smoke and mirrorsThe company lists the number of employees each year under the personnel section of each annual report, this increases by an amount much smaller than the number of graduates hired In the last annual report they stated they hired 291 graduates (so not including experienced hires) yet the number of employees only increased from 2315 to 2342, a net increase of 27. Employee turnover is thus very very high.
