I discovered this (apologies if its been linked previously) while doing research on Factom, i am a fan of Factom tho there are sceptics of course, this link is a question from a sceptic and some of the Executive board of Factom (i presume)give some answers and, for me especially, an insight to what Factom does and hope to achieve.

I'm invested here, I'd have sold and cut my losses if I didn't think the share price will recover in the near future, investors have posted links to new contracts-growth reports on the companies FFWD have invested in, just because we have had no RNSs doesn't mean they aren't doing well and growing strongly, I do understand the frustration though! Gla

I think quite a few of us will be moving on moormoney. Yes there's huge potential with several of the FFWD investee companies, but the BoD don't appear to be interested in getting the message across to a wider audience in this country. What is the point in having FFWD listed on AIM if all the news items about Factom, Vemo, Schoold, Leap Gaming,etc. are to be found solely in the press coverage in the USA?

I agree with all your comments. I'm disappointed the Bod don't put more effort into keeping their shareholders informed and happy. Not so long to wait until June but after that I shall move on unless the results are good.

Quite right mustardmark re: the latter! It wouldn't take much but it appears to be too much effort for our directors. Anyway, let's see how long it takes before we receive the next RNS and whether things change on the website or not. Dreams do come true sometimes.

888 - I concur with your comments in regards to the results/Shareprophets. Lauders, imo, has merely included the lack of RNS for results with the absence of any information, either through their website/blog/RNS for a plethora of information in relation to our investments that are out in the public domain. Since this was sold to PI's as a unique vehicle to access and invest in companies usually reserved for VCs and the elite, holders are quite rightly frustrated with the lack of information being provided - we are risking our capital and almost flying blind - I for one have long given up on checking their website and am tired of checking daily to see if there is a 1 next to FFWD in the RN column!! Woodford Patient capital provide a monthly summary, FFWD should do the same. Some may argue that comparing Patient Capital to this share is unjust due to differences in size/resources however I would argue that with under 10 holdings, a snippet once a month on investment developments would take an hour or two, not too much to ask. You mean like keep their website current and handle investor relations professionally 888ICB? Yes.... They are doing a spectacular job. Amazed you are so "happy" with their work. Each to their own of course and your are free to feel and do as you wish just as I am. We obviously have different opinions on how our directors should do their daily job. I always thought it was to do everything they had to INCLUDING defending the company against unfounded comments. Of course they may be founded and a lack of response only makes some believe that could be the case.

I am not sure why you consider knowing the date when the results will be released to be so important. Any important information has to be released by RNS and I fail to see what benefit it is to know the date when results will be released.
As for commenting on articles by Shareprophets, I would be not expect them to do so. Shareprophets is the work of a hack with a very dubious record and I would not expect FFWD to dignify his articles with a response.
Our board have better things to do with their time and will release relevant information at the appropriate time.

Very true DB4 and Roofer2. I sent one last message last night in the hope that it would kick them into action. Mentioned that they should know the date FFWD would be releasing their results and could they let me know while also including a link to the latest knocking about the Lingo Media deal by Shareprofits and asking for comments. No reaction/reply this morning when I checked. Don't know about you but when someone asks me a simple question about a date I tend to answer. Most companies provide this date when investors ask or they notify the market in advance. If some also sent me a link to an article saying negative things about my company I would tend to defend the company and reply promptly. It doesn't really inspire confidence when Jim, Josh and Lorne, not to mention FFWD investor relations ALL cannot be bothered, or don't wish to do so, to such queries.

PS. Here are the dates the previous Half Year (HY) and Final (F) results were released for Kuala Limited and FFWD:

18 December 2014 - HY
17 June 2014 - F
13 November 2015 - HY
24 May 2016 - F
20 December 2016 - HY

So will it be May or June 2017 for the Finals and why don't the company know already, or at least inform their shareholders?

I may be diplomatic/polite about it Lauders, but I'm quietly tearing my hair out and you obviously are too!! Jim has so many other irons in the fire that I get the impression he takes his eye off the FFWD ball. I can understand that Lorne is busy trying to tie up various deals/contracts, so they need someone doing a full time job taking care of the nuts and bolts of the business. I'm not quite sure what role Ian Burns has within the company, he doesn't appear to get paid very much and as the saying goes, if you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

You are so diplomatic/polite DB4. Let's be honest they are atrocious at their PR and shareholder "due care". I have been trying to tell them, you have and I believe others have too. "Deaf" might be an apt word to use their reactions! The amount of news that is now in the public domain on their investee companies is well known (see a couple of posts above for starters) yet it is almost as though FFWD don't know this news given their lack of website information or RNS annnouncements. I was hoping that some sort of positive response would come from my interaction over the last couple of days but nada! I am giving them a little longer and then I am afraid I am out of here as my patience is now almost at breaking point. The next RNS had better be a good one and it had better come soon. I asked FFWD for a date for the results which we know are due soon and not even the courtesy of a reply! Jim and Josh were included in the message so if they don't know we are in trouble. Not difficult for them to reply with a quick answer I would think?

Good day to you doodlebug. At least when Leap is floated we will have a realistic (and hopefully) respectable valuation to refer to. Also as a listed entity it SHOULD be obliged to RNS subsequent news and information more readily. Certainly more readily than we have to endure now anyway.

Re RNS, I've not noticed one showing the Energy Bet contract, many others have been over the last year or so with Vermantia & GVC, looks very promising for the float valuation come June IMO gla
