Taking my advice about slicing hey Cyber It makes sense and is sensible on such a big rise .. would have taken another 40% myself but everyone to their own Just remember nothing is guaranteed with miners

Not that it's particularly anyone's business, but my average is 10.4p, I did trim a handful in the upper 30s last week but am holding 90% of my original batch for the long term.

Thanks for your insightful input! Crash, you need to check again, 250% up in the last several weeks, probably one if not the best performer on the LSE main market. Try to pull the other one, jeez.

P21 - You're a very weird poster! However when you post, you always give me confidence this is about to rise! Your supposed deramps are way to blatant. Thanks

And this is one of the main reasons I love this project, it really is mind boggling! Quality of this project is epic!just need to do the research and hold for the big rewards. Wish I had funds available to buy more, a complete gift.

Sir Mick Davis commented:

"The Ferro Alloy Resources investment case is compelling, has an attractive risk profile and many qualities that are difficult to find in other mining investment opportunities. The Balausa Project has the potential to become the lowest cost producer of vanadium globally and to deliver highly attractive returns to its shareholders. This long-life asset benefits from access to excellent existing power and logistics infrastructure and has CLEAR POTENTIAL TO ACHIEVE NET-NEGATIVE CASH PRODUCTION COSTS - A UNIQUE QUALITY IN THIS INDUSTRY.

It will come back. think some traders getting nervy and moving more into cash. not sure what the free float of shares is but there's quite a lot of shares probably tied up now in sticky hands - so apparently small volumes may disproportionately move the price.

Agree. Economics of FAR is off the scale, NPV $2BLN, IRR 96%, payback period 1 year. As already mentioned the BFS could be slightly lower, even then the numbers would be mouth watering, unlike any other project! I have not come across these numbers/even close to on another project!Vision Blue must have done all the due diligence and ran their own numbers, gone through CPR with a fine toothcomb, and reviewed the draft BFS, and came to the conclusion that this is a project that they want to invest in!!most probably chosen out of dozens and dozens of other projects around the world that they must have reviewed! And dont forget they will be happy to provide $20m equity funding for stage 1 @ 78pence! They seem extremely confident! And elephant in the room, what if the project economics is BETTER than the CPR ;)

Agree Cyber about BFS percentages , but still looks great at 15-20 % lower . That is expected after PFS studies , seen it in other miners

Hi Jb. I’m probably not the best person to comment, I’m not trading this, just enjoying holding this from earlier on. For sure though it’s not going to go up in a straight line, and I’ve seen quite a bit of Twitter trader chat in recent weeks which explains some of the volatility. Fwiw though I think the chart says to me down before the next up - 30p should be solid support, being NB’s recent placing price and also where the 105 EMA on the 4 hour chart is roughly too (I’m no chartist expert but I do look at that).

With hindsight, the radio silence from the company for such a long period between last summer and this March was quite a giveaway something was happening. Kick myself in my post #201 just a couple of days before the deal was announced I didn’t think more laterally. It’s not impossible the negotiations went on several months and were therefore quite a big distraction for management. Operational progress in the March update was a bit poor IMO, but it got lost in the great news on the deal. There might be a bit of catch-up on the operations side needed before we get another update. Then again, some news might come tomorrow, I have no idea but I’m enjoying knowing I’m in something now with a clear future ahead.

The basic position with FAR is that there should be no more need for placings. All future equity fundings, and their prices, are known (including $20M at 78p). So assuming all funding is drawn down, there will be approx 480M shares in issue. We also know that raising $70M in debt will be a cakewalk with that equity funding in place, and Mick Davies leading as Chair. Stage 2 will be developed from Stage 1 cashflow. So all we need to do is work out is how much a company making $400M p.a. in 2025 (Stage 2) will be worth, and then divide by 480M shares to get a long term target share price...To me the only significant remaining risk is the BFS, if it should show a much less positive economic case than the (Western produced) CPR. Personally I can't see it. It might possibly be 15-20% less positive, who knows. I doubt it would be worse than that. But that would only reduce the economic case from 'astonishing' to 'excellent' IMHO...GLA NAI DYOR etc
