You could argue Director(non exec) buying 48k better than selling his quite considerable stash!! OVER 1 MILLION# Bet he wishes sold few months ago!!
The 50k buy looks to me like a desperate attempt into showing confidence in an already depleted share price.

If the directors are prepared to stump up cash for ('only') £50Ks worth, rather than award themselves free/cheap options, I wouldn't consider it peanuts, but a good indicator of confidence in the business going forward and a positive steer that they consider the MC/SP well under true value....

That is my take on it anyway....and why I too am on board here....
