ifthecapfits - when they say that the TDF will come down the east coast of South America, I hope thats not within the territorial waters of you-know-who ? Could be interesting situation if they do !!
Found references to trade missions to Uruguay in the article interesting - we known Chile is quite friendly but did not know about U.

Nice tax bonus from Rockhopper announced today for Local Government (FIG)
'
The first payment, due immediately, equates to $42m, of which Rockhopper paid $39m in June 2013. The second payment equates to $104m and will now be paid at the same time as the first royalty payment to FIG from oil production at Sea Lion.
'
This could equate to works for FKL in the islands where revenues for 6mths to 30Sept13 came to GBP 6.76million

According to the company timetable, interims are due on Monday, though I have to say I have not seen this in Forthconing Events in any of the press.
I am not so sure about Wackford conclusion in para 2 of 670. I think the surveying and drilling will create good oportunities for FIH income over next 12 months and not soo sure that the Farm Out would put back oil extraction as much. My understanding was that the new oil port was not just for landing oil but to service the industry more generally in FI.
I agree however with 'What if Premier cannot farm down ?' ( assuming they are intending so) unkown and also that current price given imponderables is way outside the buying range. South of 320p might get me sniffing - ie last Rts Issue price.

Looks like a few more fingers likely to get burnt again here, unless taking a very long term view.

According to last Sunday's Sunday Times (Danny Fortson), Premier looking to farm down which will delay Sea Lion further - first oil by 2020 if lucky - in which case no big spend until then by Falklands government. What if Premier unable to farm down?

Also recent bad news at Portsmouth (BAe dockyard) could be adversely material for the ferry (300 workers live at Gosport according to local press).

The share price has been blown up on back of Motley Fool tip. Probably will pay investors to wait for sub 350p within three months.

Correct eburne.
Pity TD Direct have made a "fist" of it - but complaint lodged and hopefully shareholders who have been short-changed will get their correct allocation of new shares in due course.

I think you've missed the point: FKL came to the market yonks ago as a result of a distribution to shareholders in Anglo United which had owned it; off the top of my head you got something like 1 FKL share for every 200 Anglo. The result was lots of holders of piddly amounts of FKL who would not sell as the commission would be more than the sales proceeds. So FKL consolidate the shares by a factor of 100, compulsorily wiping out holders of less than 100 shares. Then they subdivide the shares by 100. Result: no holders of piddly quantities of shares, and everyone else has what they had before.

If they wanted to clear out the small holdings I don't get why they split the shares back to where they were. Surly the cost of small share holders will start to build up again if trading at £3.60 rather than £360 if that was the goal.

Coo ! That means that there are now less than 2000 of us shareholders.
