Jaknife. Which "...its revenue forecasts" are you referring to? Presumably you mean those from last Investec research note of May 2018 a the co. hasn't published any forecasts? That was a revenue forecast of £1.1m for yr end 31 Dec 2018. Just for the record, is this £1.1m the figure you predict they will miss by a country mile?

WORTH WATCHING ABOVE........They maintain they are just at the start of their journey...
they even talk about new revenue sources like sponsorship and ADVERTISING within their model, that incidentally has got investors excited in BIDS very recently.

Before that though they have their sights on extra markets
THE US
NZ
CANADA AUSTRALIA and eventually the Asian countries.
Don't forget this is a few months old now.
People built up to the platform, but as he points out the live events are the exciting things and the ability to place yourself in a favourable place in the show is completely new and quite extraordinary!

Stubborn?
Perhaps.
It certainly paid off in PRSM....look at posts 7 onwards for that.
There were some real naysayers there.
I wonder how they have felt since it's heady rises?

Right an over view now.

This clearly shows the available paid-for research into this industry.

Jupiter would not, and could not, spend as much as they do, on producing this information, without willing customers.

Again they cover the VR Headsets

'Juniper Research’s latest Virtual Reality Headsets research provides an in-depth evaluation of the growing VR headsets market. It has a detailed assessment of VR headset vendors, including player profiles and positioning in the Juniper Leaderboard.

I have not paid for it myself ...some of the papers are £4090... but clearly the industry is growing (much to the poster above's chagrin I dare say).
The easy short is over, might I suggest, and the important bit in your piece might be; why I haven't closed it YET or words to that effect.

I am not in the business of making claims that it will be a smooth ride or that it will be definitely successful but I can see an awakening in this area as more of the most insightful establishments entertain the concept.

There are some amazing uses for it in the medical field,in the educational areas and entertainment.
IMMO's sudden success and flurry of interest will not be in isolation is my belief.
Will EVR holdings succeed?
We cannot know yet but I don't see why not.
I wouldn't be brave enough to be short.

Absolutely andysand!

Shares are about the future and the outlook is always the important thing.

I don't dispute that your figures are likely close. But it will all hinge on what the company says about the coming year. Your figures will be historic. They may or not be important. The forward looking statement will be key here. Well, we don't have long to wait now in any case!

Fair enough. I have no problem with bets on up or down. But I suspect that the lack of meaningful revenue is already in the price. Much will depend on the outlook statement. It's a pretty risky short.

As far as projections go, absolutely nobody is expecting millions in revenue right? Those broker forecasts are already ignored in the price (or we would be at 30p or more). So if anyone is short and expecting a crash when the figures come in, I think you will be unlucky as this is already priced in. No, what we are looking for is signs that this businesses can work in the future.

Agreed Hazl, this has a lot of future upside as technology allows real time concerts and 5G makes the experience just so much better. This price is a dream too:)))

It's funny but I was only just talking on another board about believing in something, whether that be a way of life or simply, a share, and it is true if I've done all the back ground reading (and I paid about 5p here from memory),why would I give up the chance of a real upside when I'm only about 25% down on a relatively small holding?
These sort of companies are speculative and cutting edge and that has it's exciting element to it as well as its risks.
Each to their own but might I suggest that shorters can be no more certain of the eventual outcome than the rest of us so it is a question of people making their own minds up.
The greater risk,I believe, is in the stock market generally, as the year progresses in my opinion.

"Projections and forecasts are never always going to be accurate, particularly in a start-up situation like this."

Exactly, all companies have to set challenging targets, but when it's a new business model, I cannot think of any that have ever been close to their first projections. However, it is understandable that anyone hanging on their last word, is looking to say, I told you so - whereas any savvy investor would have expected that to be the case a long time ago.

What they do have, is a catalogue that will no doubt increase in value! That's a good start!

I do not rely just on EVR for my findings but the Universities, for example Goldsmiths one of the best colleges for future trends.
Anyway as I said I'm working...but getting personal will not get you many admirers.

Those trends prove nothing except that the industry hasn't even started yet as well you know.
