13/8/2018 13:51 | Intersting post LsE:- Just to double-underline the opp here. The secondary ticket market is worth £100s millions of pounds a year but they're all working on one physical ticket sale per available seat. The difference here (and trust me, promoter's tongues are hanging out at this prospect) is that the same "seat" can be sold an infinite number of times and it's no more complicated than selling an original paper ticket. In fact, your overheads are slashed because you hardly need any people between you and the paying punter. It's an amazing model for revolutionising an industry that has changed little in a century. Lower costs per sale, VASTLY increased sales volumes and all on top of the already-gouging-you physical ticket/seat revenue :) Fast forward the tape of course and you'll end up with the same model of auctioning off of virtual tickets to the highest bid and round we all go again but with nothing but electronic delivery, no pesky posting of tickets etc. Yet more money :) | grandmasterglitch | |
