I have seen some brilliant things on twitter and would agree with you andysand it's a radically new market,vibrant and tantalising.
I would like to learn how to do it myself in the art sphere more than music.

I think JakNife's views should be heard. But, I can't agree with them as they are based on the past/present and don't see what the future holds. We can't foresee the future of course. But we can make some good guesses! VR is here to stay and will get smaller, cheaper and smarter. There will be a massive market to view all kinds of events. Theatre yes, concerts yes, but also everything else you can think of! EVRH is at the cutting edge of this. I think they made a clever decision too when they decided on maker their own VR viewer. This should help to fill the gap before there are VR headsets in every house. On a personal note, I am making a musical video that is designed purely for VR. I have been a lifelong musician but I have been learning animation for almost two years; deliberately for this exact market. The new possibilities are endless and I know we can expect all kinds of amazing experiences in the future. I know this because I am helping to create them!

Jaknife.. Pull your head out of the closet and Check out the App stores and look for your self.
With your constant negative attitude I guess you do not even have a headset, let alone down loaded the App and watched the Wireless festival so far.
The last week was lovely to be able to read this board with balanced views with out your constant glass half empty negative attitude.

Just a little research on the app will show the potential, the wide verity of events covering all ages really makes the app a must have, dream investment at this stage with the wider market that FB brings.
