19/1/2019 18:05 | Are you sure that's a buy ? | kreature
19/1/2019 08:57 | Big 1.4 mil delayed buy looking good | rakepat37
18/1/2019 13:36 | Hmm some sustained buying - could we end blue today? | lastoneout
17/1/2019 17:34 | Apologies Jak. I agree you didn't say that in so many words. But as I replied at the time it was only a Next showcase and it didn't have any forthcoming live music from them on it. | birtwhistle
17/1/2019 16:01 | They will hit it, no doubt about that. | ferrisc
17/1/2019 15:52 | Kreature - I think the next time the company will send security round to kick the chair from under all those who are dumped. | bbtablet
17/1/2019 15:05 | I don’t think the comparison with NextVR stands up very well. Melody are headhunting music industry staff with great CVs, whilst NextVR are laying their’s off. Melody have big name music artists in their catalogue, plus a stockpile of 600 more. As far as I can see NextVR have absolutely none - the only stuff they’re selling with big name music stars are backstage interviews, not music. They signed a 5-year deal with Live Nation a couple of years ago and have seemingly done nothing with it (musicwise). The only thing they’ve done better than melody is promoting themselves because they are certainly more well known than melody. Maybe that’s why they haven’t got enough money left to keep all their staff | axsrsw100c
17/1/2019 13:20 | was or were ? "NextVR’s staff was called to a meeting and told to check their email to find out their job status" Whatever happened to the more personable dumping by text message ? | kreature
17/1/2019 11:17 | NextVR have just announced they’ve laid off half their staff, so they’re not doing that well. Seems like they tried to grow too quickly when the user numbers just weren’t there. melody are taking it slower, which is a good thing. And that NextVR schedule doesn’t have any bestselling music on it. It’s just looks like little music clubs, amateur notes, and local bands that no one has ever heard of. If they didn’t have the NBA games and that moscow ballet they’d have nothing worth watching. Granted, melody have yet to start the ball rolling on the live shows, but that Liam Payne test show shows you what kind of level they will be aiming at. Everyone knows the numbers will be unremarkable when they come out in February. Investec predicted that months ago — we just need a bit of patience! I can see it shifting into a new gear when Oculus Quest comes out in the spring. | axsrsw100c
17/1/2019 10:27 | Great post Lastone. Although you get the impression it will fall on stony ground. It always does. What Jak repeatedly fails to get is that proper investors including the institutions are viewing Melody in around 36 months from launch, not 36 hours or even 36 days. But then, he's hardly a proper investor, is he? | birtwhistle
17/1/2019 07:30 | Hold on Jak, you, Kreature and Hywel are interested. Very interested otherwise why do you keep wasting time visiting this place? | trumpingtonsmythe
16/1/2019 17:51 | How do Phowdo. Mighty fine contribution that. I'm lost for an answer! | birtwhistle
16/1/2019 17:46 | Ah, the fisherman's friend arrives! | trumpingtonsmythe
16/1/2019 17:35 | come on Jak give them some credit. They did make £6k last year. Albeit revenue and not profits. | phowdo
16/1/2019 17:27 | Getting attacked from all angles now! Jak, don't you bother to read RNSs or look at Melody's website? And Hywel, take a look at Short Tracker/EVRH. What do you think will happen if all those shares are bought? | birtwhistle
16/1/2019 16:49 | Birt, the share price being down here has nothing to do with shorters, this stock is hard to short and how many shorters do you think there are? It's frustrated holders selling that is pushing the price down. | hywel
16/1/2019 15:33 | Good luck to you Rakepat. The share price is lower now than it was this time last year, which is ridiculous when you consider the progress the company has made during that time. But then as we all know we have the shorters to thank for this. Proper investors, including the institutions are taking a 36 month view. It is likely Melody will be very well known before then. | birtwhistle |
