26/3/2001 15:46 | Bari, One of the reasons for the share consolidation was to lend some stability to the share price.Tomorrow we will see how the new 60p share price is viewed by the market.Last week the share price remained fairly steady in a badly declining market.I would like to think that the reason for this could be that EVC has bottomed. As my dear friend Humbugg would say....we shall see. | nemesis
26/3/2001 15:32 | 1 for 10 , is this bad news ?? | bari
26/3/2001 15:02 | NEMESIS, No apologies needed. Yes i am in total agreement, sweeter fish elsewhere. Not at break even, broker tried to get 6p but has not done so yet. We shall see. regards. H. P.S. more dilution today........... | humbugg
26/3/2001 14:20 | Humbugg, My apologies for the delay in getting back to you...i have only just recovered after my losses this morning. I shouldn't worry about your trading record,i got bounced out off BLM this morning after the dead cat bounce, only to watch a mini rally this afternoon.Greed is a terrible thing. As for EVC. Another X trade this afternoon.Volumes are markedly higher today than the last few weeks.Might be of interest to see if there is any news behind the higher volumes. The price is remaining pretty steady, but capital at this time could probably be better employed elsewhere. If you are at break even, there are probably more attractive propositions in the market. Also tomorrow heralds the new consolidated share price so there could be fireworks later. | nemesis
26/3/2001 09:18 | NEMESIS, Not feeling any better this morning having closed my 3 longs for a solid loss i am now watching them run away from me. Timing and luck. EVC, interesting cross this morning, no interest though. When the market bounces the quality move up, as they say. Only a small interest but i need to make a decision soon, hold or jump, that is the question....... Any views? H. | humbugg
23/3/2001 16:37 | We winwin some we lose some. The art is backing more winners than losers.Have a good w/e......i am sure our paths will cross again SHORTLY. | nemesis

So now im watching EGS running away from me, just hit £3, b*llocks. Have a good weekend. I wont. H. | humbugg

23/3/2001 14:48 | Humbugg, Doesnt look like buyers are coming in with a vengeance today to enable you to take a quick profit on your toe dipping exercise.Perhaps a panacea might be in order or alternatively a placebo. | nemesis
22/3/2001 18:30 | Humbugg, Nice to see no medication was needed today and that the ask crept up by .25. Whats the idea of buying pre-consolidation,i thought you were waiting for the 50p level?Keep a tight stop loss in place and remain bullish.....especial | nemesis
22/3/2001 15:59 | NEMESIS, ii wot ave we ere.......;-)) H. | humbugg
21/3/2001 16:02 | Humbugg, Nice to see your buy of 100,000 was sufficient to move the price up .25.In these markets you are a brave man.I will watch with interest as usual. | nemesis
21/3/2001 15:47 | NEMESIS, Just nibbled at a few and dont you just know it ive become a mover and a shaker. :-)) H. | humbugg
21/3/2001 13:57 | Good call on the 6p level. This market is teetering on the brink.Greenspan waving his magical wand with a .5% cut has certainly not steadied the markets. Expect another .5% next time the Fed meets,if that doesnt stop the falls, expect another .5%.Greenspan will do all in his power to kickstart the US economy, and when and if he does turn it around, EVC,based on their cashpile alone will look oversold. In the meantime without buyers the share price will struggle. This stock like most others has not escaped the bloodbath. | nemesis
21/3/2001 08:08 | NEMESIS, Well 6p has arrived, but i am not tempted, will wait for consolidation and who knows what i will pick these up for. At a guess, how about flotation price, you never know. regards. H. | humbugg
13/3/2001 20:38 | Humbugg, In this market anything is possible. You would be a brave man buying at any level. If the markets continue sliding you will pick BLM up for 50p let alone EVC.:-) | nemesis
13/3/2001 08:46 | NEMESIS, How do you rate my chances now. I think i will wait for the consolidation to take place and pick the stock up at 50p. We shall see. H. | humbugg
08/3/2001 16:35 | Humbugg, If TGN rise and Evc Christows stays low then there could be an arguement for Evc's stake in TGN being undervalued, when taken with the fact that they have £36M in cash.Christows are a "substantial" shareholder in TGN and from what i can gather, hold a lot of options ,off balance sheet. | nemesis
08/3/2001 16:30 | NEMESIS, My soulmate, why not just buy TG. h. | humbugg
08/3/2001 16:23 | Humbugg, We live in a fickle world. If EVC could nearly double on news of the Evolution deal, then it shows that a lot of money is sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the lights to go red or green.I wonder how long it takes before investors realise that EVC is a backdoor into TGN. | nemesis
08/3/2001 16:11 | NEMESIS, Did you think it would..TG is good news, Gunnie's a clever investor. H. | humbugg
08/3/2001 16:03 | Humbugg,Good news about TGN though.MUH hasn't caused a sell off though old stick. | nemesis
08/3/2001 13:13 | RNS Number:1051A Musicunsigned Holdings PLC 7 March 2001 Musicunsigned Holdings plc is to close its operations following a strategic review of the business. Musicunsigned Holdings plc floated on the AIM market in October 2000 with the intention of providing a platform to promote unsigned bands to the music industry. The company also established its own record company, MU Recordings, to release unsigned material and was also in the process of launching an online radio station. It has become apparent to the board of the company that its business model is likely to require more funds than it is prudent to spend because, although the company has been generating revenues, they have fallen well below its original forecasts. As a consequence, the Board has decided to close down the company's operations with immediate effect and conserve the company's remaining cash. The Board intends to acquire a suitable profitable, cash generative business with excellent growth prospects, which is seeking a market quotation and which will benefit from the Group's cash resources and its AIM listing. It is looking at a number of businesses and hopes to be able to make an announcement to shareholders at the earliest opportunity. Chris Roberts, non executive chairman of Musicunsigned Holdings, commented: 'The Board of Musicunsigned have taken this decision to protect the company's remaining funds and seek a suitable business to acquire. All the staff of the company have been consulted on the board's decision.' Aroon Maharajh, chief executive of Musicunsigned Holdings, commented: 'As a board, we act in the best interest of shareholders and it is clear that the interests of shareholders are best served by taking this course of action.
